There’s so much happening in Disney World this year, and one announcement we feel gets pushed under the rug so much is that we’re getting a NEW nighttime parade!
We’ve loved all the concept art and what we’ve heard about this new spectacular, Disney Starlight, so far, and now there’s MORE news to share! Disney has just released a look at another one of the new floats coming to the parade, and it’s themed after the beloved movie Coco!
While Disney is busy designing and choreographing the parade in Orlando, music for the new parade is being recorded in London, and float construction is happening all over the United States. We’re only a few months away from the debut of the new parade, and to celebrate, Disney has released the Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away official poster!
On it, we see Elsa from Frozen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Miguel from Coco, the Blue Fairy, Moana, and Peter Pan and Wendy featured, so now we know FOR SURE all of these characters will be featured in the nighttime parade.
But that’s not all! Disney also released concept art for the Coco float that will be featured in the parade and will feature Miguel from and center. Mariachi music will introduce the float’s arrival, and we can’t get over how colorful it is — we can’t wait to see it in person!
Disney also revealed a few details seen in existing concept art that we may not have caught before, such as that the star on the Blue Fairy’s wand will be the “first star you’ll see tonight” and guests will be invited to wish upon that star to kick off the parade.
We also know that Isabela from Encanto will swing on vines on the Encanto float, just like she does in the movie!
Finally, Disney revealed that royal court dancers will bookend the stunning Disney Starlight! Princess Float, featuring Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming. It’ll be one of the many references to the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade.
We can’t wait to see more concept art and hear more about this gorgeous parade on the way! Be sure to stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep you updated with all the latest news.

Still more Disney with zero appeal to boys…. Our boys already quit Disney and they’ve done absolutely nothing to recapture their interest… That combined with Disney’s woke idiocy writes off more than two thirds of the country…. Brilliant strategy….No wonder their stock is at the same level it was a decade ago…..
So excited for this! Magic Kingdom has been without a nighttime parade for too long!
