It’s HERE! The 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is ON at Disneyland Resort from now through April 21st!
On the menus at all of the Festival Marketplaces (also known as Food Booths) are food and drink items representing “California’s incredible bounty…” and what better place to shine a spotlight on the Golden State than California Craft Brews? We’re stopping by to see what’s for sippin’ (and EATIN’!) as we bring you our complete review for this and ALL of the Food Booths at the Festival!
Menu
Even though the name of this booth is California Craft Brews, there are a couple of food items to highlight on the menu, as well: both the Lemon Pepper Wings and the Sloppy Joe Slider featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef are new this year.
As for those craft brews, you’ll find an all-new assortment this year, including Chapman Crafted Orange Plaza Pale, A More Perfect Day Double IPA by Stereo Brewing, and Green Cheek Guava in Berlin Berliner-style Weisse. They’re joined by Noble Ale Works Flamigle Hard Seltzer, and you can even try all four of the options with the Spring Beer Flight.
Prefer a mixed drink? California Punch and a Mango Guava Cocktail are also up for grabs. (And, yep, these are both new, too!)
Alright, raise your glasses high, and let’s dig in!
Eats
First up, the new Lemon Pepper Wings are served with garlic ranch. The cost is $9 for three wings, and yes, we think that’s a bit steep for just three wings. However, they were really tasty. The flavor is lemon-forward, but the garlic ranch cuts through that tartness. They’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. So they are well done, but we think, for that price, you should get at least four.
The Sloppy Joe Slider isn’t exactly your typical Sloppy Joe. It’s made with IMPOSSIBLE Beef, and topped with cheese. The price is $8. First, don’t wait to eat these — once they cool off, they’re not quite as good, and the texture gets weird. The bun is a sweet Hawaiian roll that’s nicely toasted.
The meat here is good, but the texture is definitely off-putting.
Drinks
What makes up the new California Punch ($8)? This non-alcoholic concoction mixes mango purée, guava nectar, cucumber syrup, and lemon juice. It’s garnished with a mango chile lollipop! If you’re looking for a great non-alcoholic option, this is it, especially if you want something fruity. The mango chile lollipop also makes it feel more like a fun adult drink.
Also new this year is the Mango Guava Cocktail, which costs $17. It combines vodka, mango purée, guava nectar, cucumber syrup, and lemon juice. This one is garnished with a rainbow sour belt gummy. Be sure to stir this before taking a sip or you’re going to get a sip of straight vodka. EEP. However, once it’s stirred up, this is a refreshing and fruity drink that’s also light. The rainbow sour belt garnish also makes it a lot of fun. We didn’t get much of the cucumber flavor, except with a bit of the aftertaste. Although we enjoyed it, though, we think $17 is a bit steep.
And, of course, you can try some California Craft Brews! Your options are all brewed in the Golden State, featuring Chapman Crafted Orange Plaza Pale for $16.25 (Orange, CA), A More Perfect Day Double IPA by Stereo Brewing for $16.25 (Placentia, CA), and Green Cheek’s Guava in Berlin Berliner-style Weisse for $17.75. (Green Cheek has locations in Orange, Costa Mesa, Sunset Beach, and Oceanside.) Noble Ale Works Flamigle Hard Seltzer (Anaheim, CA) is also available for $16.25.
Can’t decide? No problem! You can grab the Spring Beer Flight to try all of them for $18.
OVERALL
Overall, we really only enjoyed one of the food items at this booth, and we think the prices are a bit steep for what you get. The non-alcoholic drink, though, is a good option if you want a refreshing mocktail that doesn’t feel like it was made for kids. We’re not sure this booth would warrant a second visit, though.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!

I am so sad that the DCA Food & Wine festival has such a lackluster menu and mediocre execution this year. Today’s announcement of Seasons of the Force offerings on Disney Parks Blog helps to mitigate some the disappointment, though. I did like the chicharron tacos (would have been amazing if they were hot and fresh) and want to try the Pad Thai inspired burrito from Studio Catering Truck.
But I wonder why Disney gave DCA the short end of the stick for its F&W festival this year, esp compared to the amazing food for EPCOT? Even the limited time Lunar New Year Festival had more thematically related and more interesting choices this year.
Even though DCA’s F&WF may not be great this year, but your coverage is!
