The articles on wait times IN THE PAST are irrelevant. Every day is different, depending on weather and crowds. Yesterday’s wait times is no indication of future wait times. These articles are a waste. How does yesterday’s wait times help me today or tomorrow ? Ridiculous
Just got back from WDW last night and my experience last week was that while the short ride time estimates were pretty accurate, many of the longer/more popular rides were actually OVER estimated. This may not hold, but TRON LIghtcycle was estimated close to 80 min when I went ahead and got in line (and as a solo rider waiting in a line without a single rider line – they really could use more of these, shocking how many rides have open seats for groups with odd numbers – I listened to an audiobook and passed the time nicely) but I only waited 60 minutes tops. Seven Dwarves Mine Train was estimated at 65 and I waited no longer than 30. Those were the only extended line rides I didn’t go ahead and book LL lanes for (though now having done Flight of Passage, I GET it, what a great ride!), so I can’t speak to the others.
