Disney World never stops changing, and sometimes that means we’ve got to get used to some new rules.
Whether it’s park policies, dining restrictions, or transportation schedules, Disney is always tweaking the way things work. If you’re planning a trip in 2025, there are a few curfews you’ll want to be aware of so you don’t get caught off guard. Let’s break down three big ones you should keep in mind before heading to the parks.
Food Curfews
One of the best parts of a Disney vacation is the food, but if you’re feeling hungry late at night, you’ll want to plan those late-night snacks carefully. Most food courts across Disney Resort hotels are typically available from 7 AM to 11 PM, but that’s not an across-the-board rule. Some locations may vary, so always check the hours for your specific resort.
If you’re looking for a nightlife scene, Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk has been a go-to spot for dueling pianos and fun vibes for years now.
While it’s currently open from 7 PM to 1:45 AM, the bad news is that it will be closing permanently on April 19, 2025, which means there’ll be one less late-night option for guests who love staying out after the parks close.
Late-Night Park Event Curfews
Disney offers a few different ways to enjoy the parks after dark, but you’ll need to be aware of the timing and requirements for each.
- After Hours Events – These are separately ticketed events that let you stay in the park for three extra hours after closing. You’ll get complimentary popcorn, ice cream treats, and select beverages, and you can enter the park as early as 7 PM. These events range from $155 to $185 plus tax, depending on the park and date.
- Extended Evening Hours – This perk is available only to Deluxe Resort guests and lasts for two extra hours after the park closes. Unlike After Hours events, there are no complimentary snacks or drinks, and you must have a regular theme park admission to participate.
If you’re looking for a way to enjoy the parks late at night, make sure you choose the right option for your trip – otherwise, you might find yourself heading out earlier than expected.
Transportation Curfews
Getting around Disney World is super convenient, but you need to know when your ride is going to stop running. Here’s a quick breakdown of Disney’s transportation curfews:
- Buses – Service between Disney Resort hotels and theme parks begins 45 minutes before park opening and ends one hour after closing. If you’re heading to Disney Springs, buses only run during Disney Springs operating hours and stop one hour after closing.
- Monorail – The Resort and Express Monorails start 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens and stop one hour after it closes. The EPCOT Monorail starts 30 minutes before EPCOT opens but stays running for two hours after closing.
- Skyliner – The Skyliner stops running 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes. However, on nights when EPCOT has Extended Evening Hours, the Skyliner will only serve Disney’s Riviera Resort for one hour after closing. Guests staying at Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Caribbean Beach won’t be able to use it during that time.
- Parking Lot Trams — If you drove to the parks, parking lot trams run until 90 minutes after the park closes. The time that parking lot trams start running can vary, because most of the time guests are parked in the closest lots and don’t require trams at the beginning of the day.
And one last general curfew to note – Disney Resort hotels enforce quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. So if you’re planning a balcony hangout or a poolside late-night chat, you’ll need to keep it down to avoid disturbing other guests.
Disney World is full of magic, but knowing the curfews can help you avoid some unexpected surprises on your trip. Whether it’s planning your late-night snacks, choosing the right after-hours event, or making sure you don’t miss your last ride home, these new curfews will definitely impact your 2025 trip.
