It’s that time again. Yes, it’s time to check in on that one town in EPCOT that seems to always have trouble, whether it be with crime, storms, or supernatural occurrences.
Yep, we’re checking in with EPCOT’s Tiny Train Town in World Showcase’s Germany Pavilion. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know this poor town has been rife with problems, including personal tragedies, natural disasters, and crime and villainy. It’s where treachery is always afoot and the tomfoolery never ends. So let’s see what our Tiny Train Town citizens have been up to lately.
Hello. I’m Robin, the interim Tiny Train Town mayor. I’m reporting on the shenanigans of this little village, while Mayor Lydia takes a break. We recently paid a visit to Tiny Train Town to get the latest, and let’s just say that the hijinx never end here.
First, we’re going to check in with Dave. Dave has been protecting the town from a werewolf, mostly by keeping it distracted, but either Dave is slacking, or the werewolf has “been taken care of” because we haven’t seen it in a while. Dave, though, still seems to be frozen in fright, so, for all we know, the werewolf wandered off to another part of town to terrorize someone else.
We also spotted a cabin…and it looks just like those cabins in those horror movies. We think something might have happened because the citizens on the bottom right seem to be in a state of distress. Now, we’re not sure, but this could have something to do with a werewolf Dave was supposed to be protecting the town from. Dave, you’re fired.
We also spotted a random cave in the town. Well, we’re going back to our horror movie knowledge, because a random cave in the middle of nowhere always spells trouble. Have we perhaps found the werewolf’s lair?
Good news, though! It seems the Jug Band is unaffected by any weird goings-on in town. They’re still playing their lively music while Tiny Train Town burns… “Oh, Susanna, don’t you cry for me…” They’re just like the band on the Titanic…they’ll keep playing even as the town goes down.l
Meanwhile, Little Suzie is STILL at the top of the tower waving, and seriously, why is she up there? Where are her parents? There are no guard rails there, and well, is no one worried about her safety? Of course, she might be the safest person in Tiny Train Town, what with the werewolf roaming around and all. It’s always a good idea to climb to higher ground in an emergency, right? Did Little Suzie know all along? Is she trying to signal to the other villagers that they should come up there, too?
Meanwhile, all the other Tiny Train Town citizens are just going about their lives, ignoring Suzie, just making themselves dinner for the werewolf.
We guess we’ll have to see how the town fares after the Werewolf goes on his rampage. So stay tuned to DFB for more updates from Tiny Town Village, as well as more actual Disney news!
The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.

This is the news we need to know! Thank you for braving these challenging conditions to break this story. Question: are the Jug Band members werewolves? Is that why they have no fear. Are they purposefully provoking the citizens or can they not recall what takes place at the full moon?!
I’m going to be there in a couple of days. See if I can find the Werewolf and if so warn everyone.
Could little Suzie really be a witch?!? Maybe she levitated herself up to the top of the tower and is just zapping some spells on random townspeople, having a diabolical time. Chaos continues in Tiny Town…
Took another look/see and where Little Susie is standing there’s no lamp over her head. So she’s in a dark area. Also with no guard rails in front of her, she’s in a very dangerous spot.
I was at WDW last week and checked out Tiny Train Town. There was nary a sight of the werewolf. The community looked like everyone was going about their normal duties. Did notice a gentleman wearing a dark coat with dark hat both were splattered with what looked like white paint near the downtown area. Couldn’t figure out why he was wearing a coat when everyone else was wearing summer clothing. Just curious
