Adventures by Disney just announced a new river cruise adventure in the south of France. The Rhône River Cruise: Lyon and Provence will take you all along the Rhône River with plenty of stops to experience French culture along the way.

This 8-day cruise starts in Lyon, travels through Tournon, Viviers, Avignon, and Arles, and ends in Marseille. You’ll hop off the ship each day and return to your own room at the end of the night — we love the perks of a river cruise!

Each day of the trip offers guests choices between activities, so you can curate your trip to be perfect for you and your family! On the stop in Lyon, you’ll be able to choose between a walking tour, an e-bike tour, or a food and wine tasting tour—and that’s just in the morning! You’ll have different activity choices after a meal on board the ship.

Speaking of meals, this cruise includes 20 meals along your trip! Some are from your ship’s crew, and others are from local restaurants during your activities. With so many food and wine tours also included, you’ll be able to try a wide variety of different French foods.

This cruise includes amazing activities like a steam train excursion, visits to local museums, kayaking, or taking a VIP tour of the Musée du Pont du Gard, which has beautiful architecture built by the Romans! You can also go on a Vincent van Gogh tour and painting activity. Guests will visit places that inspired van Gogh’s work, including the asylum, where he painted over 250 works of art! You’ll even visit the town of St. Remy which is the setting of Starry Night.
