Soarin’ Over California is flying its way back to Anaheim for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!
Soarin’ Over California at Disneyland
From February 28th to April 21st, Soarin’ Around the World will transform back into its original glory and will fly over California. Guests will swing their legs over iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite National Park. You even fly over Disneyland with Tinker Bell!

Besides touring through different countries instead of places of California, there’s a big difference between Soarin’ Around the World and Soarin’ Over California — transitions! Soarin’ Around the World has smooth transitions between each country, while Soarin’ Over California jumps from one scene to the next.
Soarin’ Over California
This attraction is located in Grizzly Peak at Disney California Adventure and has a 40″ (102 cm) height requirement. It’s such a fun ride to enjoy after enjoying your new favorite snacks at the Food & Wine Festival.

I’ll NEVER forget my 1st time on Sorin’ over California. I was mesmerized and so takin in. I just didn’t think it could get any better. The 2nd time I got to go, it had changed to Sorin’ around the world. THIS TIME, I cried!! I wish it would stay Sorin’ around the world.
I miss Soarin’ over California – so much, much better than the current version. Love the smells of fir trees, oranges and surf and the thrill of the skiing, the aircradt carrier – so much more energy and excitement! Bring it back permanently to WDW!!!

Yes soaring ovef California is way better it should be permanent
I love both of the movies. Very different but entertaining. I know Disneyworld has 3 screens really wis they could run both. 1 on 1 screen and one on other 2. Think choices would help cut time in wait lines and make all happy. They do it on mission to space with several options.

Soarin’ Over California is so much better!! It should be permanently housed in Anaheim. Why should WDW have the permanent installation? It should travel there once a year. We Californians should have the California version year round.
This attraction should stay Soarin’ over California. It’s much better and – it’s in the park called CALIFORNIA Adventure.
