If you’ve chosen to stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on your next Disney World trip, we think you’ve made a great choice!
While some people aren’t fans of Coronado Springs because it’s not very obvious with its Disney theming, that’s another reason why lots of people love it! However, there’s something new at this hotel that has a lot of people now choosing to stay at it over other hotels, and honestly, we get it. There’s a new ramen bar!
Just a few weeks ago, a new dining option opened up at El Mercado de Coronado, which is a quick service market style dining location that has different food stalls to experience cuisine from. The newest addition is a ramen bar that, as of right now, has just a few options to try, but if it continues to do well, is expected to expand their menu a bit in the future.
As of writing this article, you can grab the Beef Ramen for $18, or the Vegetable Ramen for $16. Since it’s a ramen bar, we grabbed both the ramens when we visited and overall thought they were really solid! Both were pretty great quality and were cooked well. Was it the best ramen we’ve ever had? No, of course, not, but we also weren’t expecting for it to be — Disney does a lot of things well, but sometimes new food options take a little bit to settle in, and this started off on a higher note than we were expecting!
We actually got to talk to Cast Member leader about the new dishes who shared that they were hoping to offer more variety, and make a potential comfort food option more readily available. If it continues to sell well, it’s likely we’ll see more flavors introduced, which we think would be great.
Now, this isn’t the only reason more people are booking stays at Coronado Springs, but we think it’s certainly a big one! There are also fantastic other dining options available here like Dahlia Lounge, Three Bridges Bar & Grill, Siestas Cantina, and MORE, and again, lots of guests love the more minimal theming here.

No one is staying here for ramen. It’s a great place with great views, a cool pool, and 3 Bridges.
All of this is far better than any ramen
Hey, stop telling everyone about Gran Destino! We’re booked for March for a quiet few days and you’re inviting everyone here! Lol!
Stayed there in December. Have stayed there numerous times. It’s my favorite moderate. To me, it’s almost a deluxe hotel. It’s the only moderate with many different food options, and the only one that offers Club Level. It’s quiet and just a pretty place to stay at, architecturally and landscape wise.
Is Las Ventanas open, or will it open? It was a nice restaurant when you didn’t want to go to the Pepper Market. Maybe Rix has taken its place?
I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with the ramen. It’s more like when they updated it and built Destino Tower, they made it more of a deluxe Resort at moderate Resort pricing. It’s actually pretty nice and the intent was to draw in convention business.
If you are a plant nerd like me you will absolutely geek out at the numerous plants and environments around the hotel. I am an early wanderer as well. I am usually up around 3 or 4 walking the paths through this amazing resort. That alone gives a major boost to this resort over others
We have stayed there since opening year (when there were only two bus stops) over 30 times and have never been disappointed. Please quit talking about Coronado Springs, I like to be alone. lol
