Mardi Gras season has arrived at Universal Orlando.

Now, we’ve been there to check out all the Mardi Gras offerings, including the food, as well as the merchandise, parade, entertainment, and more. While we were visiting Universal, though, we noticed something new on Universal store shelves: a 30th Anniverary Mardi Gras refillable mug! Laissez le bons temps rouler!

Here’s a look at the new Universal Orlando refillable mug. This mug has been designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mardi Gras at Universal. So it’s done up in colorful Mardi Gras colors with the 30th Mardi Gras anniversary on it.

So, how do refillable mugs at Universal work? Well, if you buy a refillable mug for $18.99 (or buy refills for $16.99 each or three to six for $14.99 each), you can use the mugs at any Coke Freestyle machine throughout the parks and CityWalk for discounted soft drinks (it’s usually under $2 per drink).

Yes, Universal actually has a refillable mug FOR THE PARKS (Hey, Disney, are you paying attention?). It’s also a pretty good deal if you buy more than one (so everyone in your group can have one). So, if you’re heading to Universal Orlando anytime soon and plan on drinking a lot of soft drinks, be sure to check out the refillable mug — it could end up saving you some money.
