You just can never escape ride closures in Disneyland. Sometimes, rides go down temporarily for issues. Other times, rides close for routine maintenance.

However, Disneyland Resort has plans to close multiple attractions this spring, including “it’s a small world,” Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, and The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Well, now, it’s time to add ANOTHER ride to the list that will be temporarily closing soon, and it’s another popular one: Indiana Jones Adventure.

The Disneyland website has Indiana Jones Adventure closing on March 17th. When you look at Disneyland Park’s refurbishment schedule, the ride is officially listed, along with the others we previously noted, as well as The Disney Gallery, Meet Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow, and Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. Whew — that is a LOT of closures in one park. Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed through April 24th, 2025.

However, we may have uncovered some good news. Remember how we mentioned that Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout in California Adventure was scheduled to be closed for refurbishment as of March 1st? Well, we did some digging around on the Disneyland calendar and discovered that the ride is showing operating hours as of March 21st. Now, Disney has not yet confirmed this is the date the ride will reopen, but this is what we’re seeing online.

So, what’s up with all the closures over on the West Coast? Well, Disneyland is gearing up for its massive 70th anniversary celebration, which will bring all kinds of excitement to the park, so it’s likely that Disney is busy getting rides spruced up before the celebration’s official start date on May 16th. This celebration is going to be a big one, so Disney probably wants everything to be spic and span.
