One of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat in Disney Springs is none other than Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Florida Kitchen.
This spot is known for its delicious homestyle southern dishes like fried chicken, mac n’ cheese, and, of course, Hummingbird Cake. Not only does Homecomin’ have good eats, but they also have incredible drinks that you can get when you dine at the restaurant, as well as at their outdoor Shine Bar. If you are looking for a fun drink on the go, you are going to want to head over to The Landing, where you will find this gem of a restaurant and bar.
Homecomin’ has shine on tap, and you can choose from five different flavors. If you don’t know what to pick, you can try a flight that features all five!
The flavors include Rumshine Punch, which has strawberry RumShine, blackberry brandy, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, and house-made grenadine. The Blue Hooch, which is their strongest shine on tap, has Blue Flame moonshine, lemon-infused moonshine, blue curacao, house-made simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and a splash of Sprite.
You can also try the Strawberry Lemonade, which has strawberry moonshine, freshly muddled strawberries, lemonade, and strawberry puree. Those who like margaritas will love the Moonshine Margarita, which has tequila and moonshine and a splash of freshly squeezed orange and lime. Finally, in true Southern fashion, there is a Sweet Tea Shine that has sweet tea, fresh-squeezed lemon, and moonshine.
These all start at $16 and $36 for the flight, but if you want the ultimate experience, you can order each of these drinks in a 22oz Jumbo Squeeze Bottle for only $24. Once you purchase the bottle, refills are only $16! Alcohol can be pricey at Disney World and this is quite the deal!
Typically, if you were to order a regular-sized moonshine, it would come in a cup with no lid. This is the perfect to-go drink to enjoy as you shop and walk around Disney Springs. This hack almost seems too good to be true, as if it is illegal.
If you want a refill, you can simply head over to the outdoor Shine Bar & Social and choose the same shine or try a different shine for only $16.
We are big fans of refillable on-the-go booze, and if you want to try it for yourself, make sure to add Homecomin’ or the Shine Bar & Social to your list of must-dos at Disney Springs! As a tip, Homecomin’ is a super popular restaurant, and we advise that you make sure to book an Advance Dining Reservation if you want to dine here! Reservations are not needed for the Sine Bar & Social.
