2025 is the gift that keeps on giving us construction and closures throughout Disney World.
There are so many new and exciting experiences on the horizon at Disney World! Unfortunately, before we get to experience all these new offerings, we have to deal with closures and construction all across the parks and resorts. Another temporary (thank goodness) closure is set to hit one of our favorite places to eat at Disney World.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is home to Sebastian’s Bistro, which serves island-inspired, family-style dishes that have Caribbean and Latin influences.
This restaurant is a hidden gem and an especially great value! Sadly, if you were planning on visiting Sebastian’s Bistro on your upcoming vacation, you may be out of luck! There is a notice on Disney’s website that says that Sebastian’s Bistro will close on March 24th, 2025, and is expected to re-open at the end of March.
Now, the 24th is already the end of the month, so it seems that this closure will not last more than a week. We tried to make a reservation, and the calendar allowed us to start making reservations on the 29th of March. While this does not guarantee that the refurbishment will be done by then, it does give us hope that the closure will only last less than a week!
We will continue to keep an eye out for any construction updates at Sebastian’s Bistro as well as for any news on construction across all of Disney World. Even more closures are on the way as the phased closure dates for Muppets Courtyard have been released, so make sure to continue to follow along with Disney Food Blog so you never miss out on the latest Disney news!

Let’s hope they change the menu as well. I ate there for the first time on my last trip, and let’s say that it was my first and last.
The Caribbean spices were so overpowering that I could only eat a few bites of the meal. The only thing that didn’t have it was the fish, and that was so dry and tasteless that I felt like I was eating cardboard. The salad and dessert were the only things that I enjoyed at all. They need to give people more options for entrees. More seafood would be my suggestion.
My daughter and I really enjoyed Sebastian’s, and look forward to another visit in the future! We loved the family style meal, and added coconut shrimp. The salad, meat, rice were amazing! The dessert was incredible! The service was impeccable. Very nice experience.
