Tiana’s Bayou Adventure may technically be Magic Kingdom‘s newest ride, but the problems of the ride’s past still continue to plague it.
Ever since Tiana’s opened, we’ve seen the attraction have its fair share of issues — with it malfunctioning or “going down” seemingly more often than it properly functions. It looks like Disney may be doing some lowkey TLC on Tiana’s because the ride is closing early on several upcoming days.
Heads up if you’ve got an upcoming trip to Magic Kingdom planned! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be closing early on several upcoming days.
On January 23rd, 27th, 28th, and 29th, and February 3rd, 5th, and 6th, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will close earlier than Magic Kingdom — at 6 PM.
On January 30th, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will close even earlier at 4:30 PM, but this is because Magic Kingdom itself will also be closing early.
If you’ve got a Magic Kingdom trip planned on any of these dates, make sure you try and snag those Virtual Queues and Lightning Lanes for this ride early!
In case you’re unfamiliar, Tiana’s uses a Virtual Queue system, which means you can’t just walk up into the line and wait your turn. Instead, you’ll need to join the Virtual Queue through the My Disney Experience app at either 7 AM or 1 PM. You can read more about Virtual Queues here!
Your other option is to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and try to snag an early Lightning Lane return time for the ride. Tiana’s is considered a “tier 1” ride, so you’ll only be able to select one ride from this tier when you make your first picks on the app. Learn more about the Lightning Lane for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure here!
While Disney World hasn’t made any official announcements about the early closure of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on these days, we’ll continue to keep an eye on the calendar to see if these early closures will continue or if things go back to normal anytime soon.
In the meantime, we’ll be looking for the latest news from Magic Kingdom and the rest of Disney World. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss a thing!
