A BRAND-NEW Universal Orlando hotel is OFFICIALLY open!

Universal Stella Nova Resort

Universal Epic Universe is set to open this year on May 22nd, 2025 and it will be accompanied by new hotels to boot. One of those new hotels is Universal Stella Nova Resort, which has officially opened TODAY, January 21st, 2025! 

The new hotel is a sister hotel to Universal Terra Luna Resort and is operated by Loews Hotels. The Epic Universe-adjacent Stella Nova Resort has opened a couple months ahead of its counterpart, which is set to open on March 25th, 2025.

According to Universal, both hotels “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

Stella Nova sports a cosmic theme, “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” In fact, the space images in the lobby are all real NASA images that have been recreated for the hotel.

Stella Nova is a Prime Value Resort Hotel with a focus on standard guest rooms at an affordable rate. Hotel amenities include a feature pool, fitness center, game room, recreation room, a Universal store, and more. You’ll also get the usual Universal perks such as early park admission and complimentary transportation along with its super-close proximity to the Epic Universe. We got to take a sneak peek inside the rooms earlier this month.

As for dining, the hotel offers the Cosmos Cafe and Market quick-service option along with a selection of grab-and-go items for all three meals. You’ll find options such as burgers, fried chicken, pizza, and more.

There’s also the poolside Galaxy Bar, a full-service bar that serves meals like burgers, quesadillas, and salads. Check out the Nova Bar in the lobby for a unique cocktail experience! Per Universal, “Nova Bar creates craft drinks instilled with various smoky elements for a uniquely delicious experience.”
