We are here, yet again, to sing the praises of Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney World.

But, what you might not realize is that the Disney Springs location isn’t the first! Gideon’s Bakehouse opened at Orlando’s East End Market long before coming to Disney World. And now, the owner of Gideon’s Bakehouse has announced a NEW concept opening soon!

Gideon’s Bakehouse is introducing a new concept and it opens soon! Stuart & Bonnie’s food truck will make its debut on Sunday at Orlando’s East End Market, located at 3201 Corrine Drive. But, don’t expect the spooky and macabre vibes — or the two-pound cookies — of the OG Gideon’s!

Instead, you’ll find bright colors and all things lemon and orange. The name comes from two of the first Gideon’s characters to be released with cookies. Stuart Valencia was released with the limited-edition Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip, while Bonnie Brae came with the Lemon Poppyseed Cookie. Thus, Stuart & Bonnie’s was born.

Steve Lewis, owner of Gideon’s Bakehouse, described it as, “It’s Old Florida meets European sensibilities: Southern icebox tarts and sophisticated Euro-style things.”

You can expect treats like a gelato sandwich, and icebox tart, and more, plus cold brews, tea, and house-made orange soda. Check out the menu for the opening weekend below:

But, there won’t be another Gideon’s Bakehouse location opening anytime soon. According to Lewis, the concept just isn’t scalable.

“What we do is too hard,” he said. “Something like Stuart & Bonnie’s is a way for Gideon’s to grow without sacrificing what we do.”

If you want to check this new spot out, make sure you head to the East End Market on Sunday! Stuart & Bonnie’s will be open from noon to sellout, plus you’ll get the chance to take home some buttons, magnets, stickers, and more merch — and you just might see us there!
