Extra, extra, read all about it! Seriously, we’re sure Disney World hasn’t had a wink of sleep because it has dropped so many new updates this week. If you’ve missed out, this is your chance to catch up!

I’m back again with another round of WHAT’S NEW UPDATES AT DISNEY WORLD, a rundown on all the epic news and updates that happened at Disney World this past week. This week, we got the 4-1-1 on over 120 restaurants INCREASING in prices, 38 NEW snacks announced, and a highly anticipated restaurant soft OPENING!

CONFIRMED: Over 120 Restaurants Increased Prices in Disney World

One of the most difficult things that can happen when you’re planning a Disney World trip is trying to figure out a budget.

It doesn’t help that we often see price increases on things, which could change just how much you’ll need for the trip. We recently saw a price increase announced for tickets in 2025 and we’ve seen the highest price YET for Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Well, now, we’ve seen a TON of price increases for Disney World restaurants.

It is almost time for Disney World to transform into a winter wonderland for the holidays!

On top of all the beautiful Christmas decor around all the resorts and across all four theme parks, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights. This party is a specialty ticketed event that includes party-exclusive entertainment like Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade. Of course, there are also tons of holiday-themed snacks, and Disney just released its official foodie guide for this year’s parties! Let’s take a look!

BREAKING: New Restaurant Holds SURPRISE SOFT OPENING Today in Disney World

The wait is FINALLY over, friends — this restaurant on Disney’s BoardWalk has opened its doors, and we couldn’t be happier!

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has been highly anticipated for many years now. Originally scheduled to open in 2023, the opening was pushed to early 2024…then Fall 2024, and here we are! Today, October 24th, The Cake Bake Shop soft opened the doors to its first Florida location — come take a look inside with us!

The Cake Bake Shop is an elegant dining location open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but you can also grab delectable desserts here unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. The menu listed outside this location was recently revealed and a lot of us were VERY shocked at these prices, but since then, some of those prices have changed. We’re excited to get to take a look inside to see what these prices will get you.

Inside on the bakery side, you’ll find a beautiful display case of some of their delicious desserts, ranging from cakes to bars, to pies, and beyond!

And in case you’re wondering how far this elegance goes, the bathrooms are beyond stunning as well. We know that may be a strange thing to say, but just look at this!

However, you can also find tons of different merchandise inside the shop as well! The Cake Bake Shop even has a fun story about their resident gray dragon, Brûlée, who flies around the bakery lighting all the chandeliers and spreading its pixie dust over all the desserts when it flaps its wings! And you can even buy some of that edible Pixie Glitter in the store.

But there are so many other items to find in the store — stuffed animals, books, and so much more. It’s a great place to shop if you’re looking for a gift for someone who enjoys baking, or would love to visit the shop but doesn’t live in the area.
