Disney Imagineers are updating the Country Bear Jamboree show in Magic Kingdom with “an all-new act.” The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass!
The attraction is reopening soon at Magic Kingdom, and we simply can’t wait to see it. But, one lucky group of folks will get to preview it first and we’ve got all the details!
Disney previously announced that the revamped show, which will feature some significant updates, would be opening in the summer of 2024 and later revealed an official opening date of July 17th! We know we can’t wait to check out this newly revamped show, but an exclusive (and lucky!) group of folks will get to experience it FIRST.

You can expect an “all-new act” where the bears sing Disney songs in new styles like pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass. You’ll even get to hear a version of “Bare Necessities” in rockabilly style.
The show will also be inspired heavily by the Opry-style shows found in Nashville, Tennessee. In fact, Nashville artists are involved in the new song arrangements. Big fans of the original show will want to pay close attention as there will be easter eggs throughout the new production that nod to the older show.
As for now, Disney hasn’t announced Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club Member previews for the reopening of the Country Bear Jamboree, but we will certainly let you know if that changes!
In the meantime, we’ll be on the hunt for even more news from Disney World, so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for the latest.
