Disney World gives…and Disney World takes away.
The Waffle Sandwiches are gone!
Recently, our beloved waffle sandwiches have been removed from the menu at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, and we also lost the hush puppies that used to be our favorites at Columbia Harbour House. But today, we have GOOD NEWS, my friends. One of our very favorite meals is Disney World Menu Official again!
Let’s head over to Crew’s Cup Lounge in the Yacht Club Hotel — home of one of the very BEST meals we’ve ever had in Disney World — Prime Rib Sliders!

Crew’s Cup is kind of tucked away here near Yachtsman Steakhouse, and for that reason, there’s rarely a wait.

We love, love, LOVE the Prime Rib Sliders at Crew’s Cup! These sandwiches are served as a trio — on mini-onion rolls with au jus and horseradish cream.

And these little bbs have caused us a considerable amount of STRESS over the past 5 years! We first had them in 2019, and they were one of the BEST meals we have ever had in Disney World. But then after the COVID-related closures in 2020, Crew’s Cup Lounge opened WITHOUT the sliders on the menu!
Late last year, we were tipped off that they were BACK. And they were just as glorious as we remembered. But then, they were off the menu again within a couple of weeks. This was turning into quite a sandwich saga!

The DFB Team kept checking, though, and while the Prime Rib Sliders were not on the online menu for Crew’s Cup Lounge, they have been consistently available for the past several months. We still worried, though. What did it mean that they weren’t on the online menu? Were they temporary? Would they disappear again?
The sliders are BACK!
And that brings us to TODAY — a GLORIOUS day in Disney food news! We are SO HAPPY to report that the Prime Rib Sliders are officially BACK on the Disney World online menu!

We feel like we can finally stand down and relax into the idea that this plate of deliciousness will be around for a long time to come (we’re crossing our fingers it will, at least)!

When we went in February they didn’t have truffle fries. Server told us they were left in the online menu but they are no longer on the restaurant menu. Any updates on that?
