Flying to Disney World soon? You may be looking for a nonstop flight to make your travel day easier.
We keep you updated on all the exciting airline sweepstakes we see that could save you LOTS on your next trip, as well as all the new nonstop flights that are added to the airport and everything in between. If you’re located in New York, we’ve got fantastic news — a new nonstop flight to Orlando is on the way!
According to the Orlando Business Journal, JetBlue has now added a new nonstop flight to Orlando International Airport that will begin October 24th, 2024.
The new route is from New York’s Long Island MacArthur Airport to Orlando International Airport once every day! However, you’ll also be able to fly to and from MacArthur Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport OR Palm Beach International Airport four times a week.
Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, has said, “The addition of Long Island MacArthur Airport to our network will offer more options and greater convenience for customers, and we are proud to provide new opportunities for more Long Islanders to experience our unique combination of low fares and great service.”
Did you know that JetBlue was Orlando International Airport’s 6th biggest airline in 2023 in terms of activity? That’s right — they saw over 5.51 million passengers at that airport alone!
If you’re flying in or out of Orlando International Airport soon, we highly recommend getting to the airport a MINIMUM of 2 hours early if you’re flying domestically and 3 hours early if you’re flying internationally. This is a super busy airport, and security can take a good bit of time you’re not accounting for. However, you can also use the FREE MCO Reserve service to reserve a time in advance to head through a separate security line — it’s a game changer!
Here are 3 ways you can skip the security line at Orlando International Airport
