I wouldn’t stay anywhere for $5K a night.
Would LOVE to stay here, would love to try every WDW room type there is, but I doubt we would ever feel like it was worth the cost. You can get so much more out of $5,000 (or even $800) elsewhere in the resort. But this is perfect for keeping up all those celebrity sightings at Disney!
Way too expensive! After closing their Star Wars hotel due to people not being able to, or not wanting to, spend that much money I’m surprised Disney is opening yet another overpriced hotel! It doesn’t even look all that special.
Way, way too much. Does not look like I will ever stay there when you consider there is nothing there except a grossly over crowded O’hana’s. When this place opens, you can forget about getting g a reservation at this sought after eatery. We guests gave up the Spirit of Aloha for this… I don’t think so.
Just not impressed with the concrete painted tower that certainly doesn’t match the Polynesian Resort. Lack of imagination inspired by desire for cash from new DVC members I guess.
The prices are ridiculous. I agree with the previous post … I would much rather stay at a moderate and use the extra money on other things. Also, this new part of the Poly is so bland. The outside looks like a condo. No theming at all. It’s a shame that the luau was torn down for this monstrosity. Disney is once again catering more and more to higher income families. I remember the days when things were much more affordable for the average income family. Now Disney is only going to use IP in all of their attractions. Even the souvenirs are horribly overprices. I absolutely hate that the original songs in the Country Bears are now all IP based songs. Disney … listen to what your long time park visitors are saying. Walt is turning in his grave.
