If you want this Southwest offer, you’ll have to ACT FAST!
In celebration of the fifth anniversary of their direct flights to Hawaii, Southwest Airlines is offering travelers to and from the islands the opportunity to earn one of their coveted Companion Passes. However, if you want to jump on this offer, you’ll have to do so TODAY.
The offer is for “Southwest Rapid Rewards Members who book one round trip or two one-way flights in June or July 2024 between the mainland U.S. and the Aloha State. Rapid Rewards Members who enroll in the limited-time promotion before May 24, 2024, and purchase eligible travel this summer will score a coveted promotional Companion Pass. The Companion Pass allows Members to designate one person to fly with them for free every time the Customer purchases a fare or redeems points for a flight during the pass’s validity.”
So essentially, if you book Hawaiian travel for a trip between June 1st and July 31st, you’ll then earn a Companion Pass, which will in turn allow a companion to fly FREE with you on trips between October 5th and November 15th. Pretty good deal right? However, if you want to jump on this offer – say book a quick getaway to Disney’s Aulani Resort – you’ll have to join the Rapid Rewards program (if you’re not a member already) and book by 11:59PM CT TODAY, May 24th.
If you’re a Sam’s Club member, you can make these Southwest deals even sweeter! Currently, the wholesale warehouse chain is offering $500 worth of Southwest Gift Cards for $449.
The cards are limited to a maximum of 2 per membership, may only be redeemed at Southwest.com, on the Southwest Airlines Mobile Apps and Mobile Website, and a maximum of three Southwest Gift Cards can be applied per passenger on each reservation.
According to Southwest, this new offer is a way to “HI 5 our Customers for supporting five years of Southwest service in five airports across Hawaii by showcasing and sharing one of the great perks of being part of our Rapid Rewards program.”
Not only that, but Southwest Airlines is currently offering a sweepstakes with a grand prize of an Aulani vacation for four, consisting of a 4-night stay at the resort! In addition, the lucky winner and their three guests will receive roundtrip air travel to Honolulu, HI, and be provided ground transportation to and from the airport.
To enter, potential contestants must first play a memory game on Southwest’s website where they match symbols. Once they succeed, they simply need to fill out a registration form. The contest is open to legal U.S. residents ages 19 or older. Entries close at 11:59PM CT on May 31st.
