It’s overwhelming walking into shops in Disney World. If you’re like us, you might find yourself just wanting to buy EVERYTHING.
However, we end up having to pick and choose which souvenirs we buy, and it seems like everyone on our team has a favorite. However, we asked YOU, our DFB readers, which souvenirs you think are perfect, and there was one Disney souvenir that stood out above the rest.
Mugs
So if you had to guess what the most perfect souvenir from Disney World is, we bet you’d get it because you probably have a collection yourself. It’s Disney mugs. Yep, Disney mugs are something our readers agree on that make for the best souvenirs. It makes sense: they’re useful, after all. That morning coffee before work is also a lot more fun when we’re drinking it from a Disney mug, too.
Hilary said, “I love my mugs, especially my Ft Wilderness ones. Brings back wonderful memories while enjoying my coffee.”
Some of you even mentioned the Resort Refillable Mugs. Lorraine said, “I also love the refillable mugs. They’re handy, affordable, and worth it for us.”
Apparently, those mugs last a good long time, too. Brandy said, “I use my refillable mugs literally everyday for my coffee! Some are 16 years old & cute still cute“
Cheryl summed it up for all of us, “Well, I love coffee and tea, and both taste better out of Disney mugs!”
Those Starbucks “Been There” mugs are also popular. Tracey said, “Starbucks been there mugs. I get my Disney vibe every morning with my coffee.”

Loungefly Bags
However, we wanted to have some Honorable Mentions, too, because several other souvenirs came up, including Loungefly bags. Although these bags can be pricey, they’re generally well-made and, again, something you can use all the time. Matt said, “Loungefly backpacks. My kids and wife use them all the time and they hold a lot of my stuff.”
Of course, a favorite souvenir is dependent on the person, as Brandon pointed out: Pins and Popcorn buckets. And my wife says Loungefly and Spirit Jersey. So… Moral of the story… It depends on the person.” Okay, we get that.

Popcorn Buckets
Okay, so this one kind of surprised us, but at the same time, we see how quickly Popcorn Buckets can often sell out. These are ALWAYS a hot commodity, so, yes, they’re popular. They’re handy because you can get cheap refills if you bring them for future trips, as Alex pointed out: “Popcorn buckets. Refills next trip are so nice.”
Kyra agreed, “Popcorn bucket We refill it several times in each park throughout our visit.”
Now, we know certain popcorn buckets are more popular than others (remember the Figment Popcorn Bucket chaos of 2022?)

Ornaments
A lot of you also mentioned collecting ornaments from Disney, which is a great idea. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas than with a new ornament you bought in Disney World? Lorraine said, “We love ornaments! We always get a hotel specific one since we haven’t duplicated a hotel yet.”
Sharon added, “I will have to agree with others who said Christmas ornament from Disney. “
Beth likes to get customized ornaments from Magic Kingdom: “Ornaments from the Christmas Shoppe personalized with calligraphy with information from your trip (ex: year, names, time of year you were there, etc).”

What’s your favorite Disney World souvenir? Let us know in the comments!
Personally, I love Disney pins. They are the perfect size to throw into my full suitcase, relatively inexpensive, and I can wear them daily. Great article.
Coffee mugs, Tervis cups, and other things I use in my kitchen…potholders, drying mats, large mickey shape cutting board, tongs, corn holders, casserole dish …..
However my Haunted Mansion collection of interactive ornaments plus the mansion itself (some of which were. purchased outside the parks really rule!
Every Disney trip must include the purchase of an ornament and at least one pin. Note, we get an ornament wherever we travel, so we can “relive” that trip every year when we decorate the tree. AND we’ve been collecting pins so long, I was able to fill a large piece of black poster board with the Mickey head shape and fill it with pins! Only a couple of little spots lefts before I can frame it.
