Packing for Disney World can be super stressful, but that’s why we’re here!
We’re here to help you pack for your trip by telling you what you should and shouldn’t pack for your trip so it’s a little less overwhelming. Now some things are genuinely not necessary for your trip, but if someone tries to tell you THESE things are unnecessary…well, we have to disagree.
An Extra Pair of Shoes (Or Even More Than That)
Whether it’s an extra pair of shoes for walking around the parks unless your main pair breaks, a fancy pair of shoes for a night out, or somewhere in between, an extra pair of shoes is something we’d say is TOTALLY necessary. For Men, one pair of shoes we recommend are the ON Men’s Cloud 5 Sneakers.
And for women, we recommend the same brand — the On Women’s Cloud 5 Sneakers!
Reviewers love the quality, comfort, and lightweight feel of the shoes. Plus, you don’t have to worry about them untying on you in the middle of the parks!
Sunglasses
These aren’t exactly necessary, since you can survive without them, but you may just be squinting constantly. To avoid this (and actually be able to LOOK at your surroundings), we suggest having a pair of sunglasses in your bag.
MagicBands to Match Every Outfit
One MagicBand is fine, sure, but what if you bring enough to match EVERY outfit perfectly? If you have them already, might as well use them! Some of them are simple colors, like this Light Pink MagicBand+, which means they’re easy to match to a ton of outfits.
Or you could go even simpler with the Gray MagicBand+.
This will go with tons of outfits, especially if you’re someone who goes with more muted colors.
Or if you’re feeling a specific theme, you can grab the Winnie the Pooh MagicBand+!
You don’t necessarily have to be dressed as Winnie The Pooh for this to match though, even just a yellow and/or red outfit will match!
Medication
If you’re someone who on the occasional day has to take Aleve, Advil, or another medication for pain or discomfort of any kind, PLEASE bring that with you to Disney World! You’ll be walking MUCH more than you normally would in much different conditions.
Anti-Chafe Stick
Listen, Disney World is HOT and you’re going to want to be wearing as little as possible to stay cool, which very well may mean you start to chafe. That’s where Megababe comes in! Trust us, it’s much better to have this in your bag and NOT need it than be burning and wishing more than anything you had it.
It’s better to have more than you need on your first Disney World trip, and then you can scale down as you go more and know what you do and don’t need. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
