Buzz and Mickey, You Good?! Disney's New Ears Have Us Worried.

?TREND ALERT!? We’ve seen people walk around with Disney nuiMOs stuffed animals strapped to their bags. We’ve seen grown adults sit down for a glittery face paint makeover. We’ve even seen some brave trendsetters sport DUCK LEG headbands in the parks. It’s Disney World — anything goes.

OK, what we’re about to show you is gonna be polarizing. If you’re in the camp that loves kooky, kitschy Disney merchandise, you’re going to LOVE these new souvenirs. If you simply can’t get behind the whole *walk around with literal sequined mouse ears* thing, you may want to avert your eyes. Alright. Let’s do this. Time to talk new merchandise.

Disney just shared a first look at a brand-new souvenir coming to Disneyland SOON! To be fair, although we said “brand-new,” you may recognize these bad boys from overseas. These Disney character headbands are already SUPER popular at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

To get the full effect, you really have to see them ON, though, right? What’s unique about this souvenir is that you can mix and match the headband however you want! This is pretty obvious, but for the sake of clarity, we’ll give you the step-by-step. Just choose a headband, grab some mini plush accessories, and then secure them to the headband.

Yep. It’s basically a group of dismembered Disney plush HEADS on a headband. Questions? If you’re seeing the vision and imagining a headband of your own, you’ve got plenty of character options:

The new Create Your Own Headbands (and separately sold mini plush accessories) will “soon” be available at The Mad Hatter shop on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park.

Yeah, we’re not gonna lie. This is taking us back to Disney World when those Donald Duck leg “ears” (can we call them ears? What ARE they?!) first debuted in Magic Kingdom. What a time.
