We JUST kicked off the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, but it’s not to soon to start planning for the next festival!
2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival usually takes place in the springtime, bringing beautiful topiaries and floral displays to the park, along with garden-inspired eats and entertainment. If you’re coming to Disney World in the next few months and you want to visit the festival, we’ve got some important news for you!
Disney previously announced that the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival would start on February 28th, but now we know when it will end! The last day of the festival for this year will be May 27th.
EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival
That’s 90 full days of festival fun this year! These dates are shifted a bit earlier than usual — last year, the festival began in March and ran until early July. We’ll be interested to see how this change affects the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival that typically comes directly after.

This year will bring back the Garden Rocks Concert Series, plenty of food booths, and a fun scavenger hunt, as well as some new topiary designs. We can’t wait to check everything out next month!

The whole month of June without a festival seems strange. maybe a 5th festival this year?
How disappointing that it is ending so early. Could not go until June and was looking forward to the festival. totally bummed
Interesting, that means Food and Wine will be in June/July this year?
That is so disappointing as my husband and myself will only arrive in Orlando on May 27th and were really looking forward to seeing the Flower and Garden Festival. Sadly, the Food and Wine Festival is of no interest whatsoever. This will quite possibly be our last trip to Florida. What a shame. I guess food and wine bring in more money than flowers.
Bummer… If that means Food & Wine ends earlier as well, that will be unfortunate. I’ve already booked our Food & Wine dates and now it may end up being out of range.
Really hope this doesn’t change the typical dates for food&wine. We have loved the last 2 years when we went middle and end of October. And it’s something my boyfriend and I want to keep doing yearly during that month. We love f&w and I’d hate to see it gone before nicer weather typically rolls through in October
I would hope for another festival, but they may not be able to turn it around in time for me. We are there June 2nd – June 6th. We had plan to go in April, but I couldn’t take my son out of school. This will be my boyfriend’s first time. We can’t wait.
