We’re in that final stretch before the end of the year where all the dates blend together and things get a little hazy!
Maybe you’re trudging through the last few days of the year at work, or maybe you’re one of the lucky ones on vacation (at Disney World perhaps?) but if you’re ringing in the New Year at home on December 31st, we know exactly where you tune in. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will premiere live on ABC, and there’s going to be a big Disney surprise!
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve starts at 8PM ET on ABC and runs until after the ball drops at midnight, but the time you’ll really want to pay attention to is earlier than that! Disney has shared that there will be a “special surprise” right around 11PM ET.
Disney hasn’t shared many details about what this surprise will entail, but it’s possible that there could be an announcement of some kind. We’ll be tuning in to find out what’s going on!
And of course, if you’re celebrating the New Year in Disney World, there are plenty of offerings available. We’ve already seen exclusive snacks and merchandise, and then both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom will do fireworks and countdowns. We can’t wait!
Stay tuned to DFB for all the Disney news and updates. We’ll keep you in the loop.

Hubby and I are blessed to be heading to the 2024 Magic Kingdom New Years.
I’m glad that I was a lucky one at WDW last New Year’s Eve. My husband and I thought it was crowded then at least you could still move around pretty good and I use an EVC (which no matter when I go NO BODY watches out for. Day after New Year’s Day was bummer for me I became extremely ill ? and unable to leave our unit the day we were leaving, so I spent a very expensive trip to stay in my room sick except 3 days out of 10.
