Have you heard the huge EPCOT festival news?

The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will begin on February 28th, 2024, and run through May 27th! We’ve got all kinds of details about the Festival (including FULL FOOD BOOTH MENUS!), so let’s take a minute now to take a closer look at all of the things that Disney has confirmed will return to the fest this year.

1 — Garden Rocks Concert Series + Dining Packages

Get ready to ROCK! The Garden Rocks Concert Series will return in 2024! The concert series takes place at the America Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion.

The Garden Rocks concerts are free with EPCOT admission. Internationally known artists perform Friday through Monday, while local bands rock the house Tuesday through Thursday. Some of the artists participating this year include Rick Springfield, Pointer Sisters, Plain White T’s, and Simple Plan.

If you want to reserve your spot at a certain concert, you can book a Garden Rocks Dining Package. Purchasing a package gets you guaranteed seating at that evening’s performance along with a meal at one of the EPCOT restaurants.

Participating restaurants in 2024 include Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, The Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Rose & Crown Dining Room, Spice Road Table, and Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. (Regal Eagle will only offer same-day dining packages.)

Prices for these dining packages vary greatly depending on what restaurant you’ll be choosing.

2 — Topiaries and Gardens

Another returning feature in 2024 will be the Disney Character topiaries and garden spaces around the park. We love checking out all the incredible topiaries in EPCOT during this event!

In 2024, a few new topiaries will be added. Specifically, you’ll find these NEW topiaries this year:

• From the Disney movie Wish — Asha, Valentino, and Star — Main Entrance
• Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy — World Discovery – Near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
• From Coco — Miguel and Dante — World Showcase – Mexico Pavilion

There will be a few new gardens this year too, specifically:

• China Penjing Garden – World Showcase – China Pavilion – Discover ancient Chinese art that recreates miniature landscapes.
• Gnome Garden – World Showcase – Germany Pavilion – Discover topiary versions of magical garden gnomes, originating from German folk tales.

3 — Garden Graze

If you love earning prizes, this next one is for you. The Garden Graze will return this year with some tasty treats. The Garden Graze is a food stroll throughout the festival (kind of like the Cookie Stroll at the EPCOT Festival of Holidays).

To complete the Garden Graze, you need to pick up a Festival Passport and take a look at the qualifying items listed inside. You’ll need to purchase items from that list and collect 5 stamps when you buy the food. Once you have the 5 spaces stamped in your passport, you can turn it in for a special prize! Last year, the prize was soft serve in a souvenir cup.

Here’s a look at the menu items that’ll be on the Garden Graze food stroll this year:

• Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market (Germany Pavilion) — Potato Pancakes with House-Made Apple Sauce
• BRUNCHCOT (Near Test Track presented by Chevrolet) — Avocado Toast with Marinated Tomatoes and Plant-Based Cheese Crumbles on Toasted Ciabatta
• EPCOT Farmers Feast (Near Test Track presented by Chevrolet — Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread and Plant-Based Cheese
• Florida Fresh (Near Disney Traders) — Florida Strawberry Shortcake
• La Isla Fresca (Between the France and Morocco Pavilions) — Coconut Tres Leches: Vanilla Cake soaked with Oat, Almond and Coconut Milks topped with Toasted Coconut
• Refreshment Outpost — Seasonal Fruit Parfait with Sweet Chili Sauce and Mango DOLE Whip®
• Refreshment Port (Near Canada Pavilion) — Plant-Based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine on Crispy Potato Barrels with Plant-Based Ranch and Blue Cheese Crumbles
• Trowel & Trellis (Near Disney Traders) — Impossible™ Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables and Creamy Herb Aioli

We can’t wait to see what the prize will be this year.

4 — Scavenger Hunts

One more activity has been confirmed as returning in 2024: Festival Scavenger Hunts! First up, we have Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration.

To complete this, you’ll purchase a scavenger hunt map and stickers at select spots (for $9.99 plus tax), look for Spike throughout the park, mark down where he’s located with the stickers, and then turn in your completed map for a prize!

But wait — there’s MORE! For a limited time (the dates haven’t been released yet) you’ll also find the Egg-Stravaganza Hunt.

This typically appears a bit later in the Festival, closer to Easter. You’ll once again purchase a map and stickers, but this time you’ll look for eggs themed to Disney characters. Mark the locations of the eggs on your map and then you can turn it in for a special prize!

5 — Food Booths

Of course, we can’t talk about an EPCOT festival without talking about the FOOD. Full menus have been released for the Festival this year and there will be nearly 20 food booths with over 60(!!) new items to try.

Some of the new items include:

• The Honey Bee-stro — Honey-glazed Cauliflower with honey-roasted carrot purée, wild rice pilaf, spring vegetables, honey-blistered grapes, and sunflower brittle (New)
• Florida Fresh — Grilled Warm Water Lobster Tail with Key lime butter (New)
• Swirled Showcase — Strawberry Basil Sorbet in a waffle cone (New)
• Refreshment Outpost — Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango (New) (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)

Of course, some returning favorites will also be back too! The Coconut Tres Leches will make a sweet return to La Isla Fresca, the Chicken and Waffles will return to The Honey Bee-stro, and the Orange Blossom-Saffron Cake is coming back to Tangierine Cafe!

There will be LOTS of food to enjoy this year, so pack those stretchy pants!

6 — Merchandise

Love to shop until you drop?! The Festival will have plenty of that for you too! This year there will be 4 specially themed collections — the Orange Bird Collection, the Coco Collection, the Butterfly Collection, and the Annual Passholder Collection.

And while we think the Orange Bird Loungefly backpack could be a popular item…

…the Orange Bird Lug bag might be one of the HARDEST things to pick up — so be warned!

You’ll also be able to grab a Festival-themed mini gift card, so be on the lookout for those. You can load these with as little as $15 and then use them to purchase your items around the park. It’s a great way to stick to a budget and get a souvenir!
