The holiday season has officially arrived in Disney World, and we are so ready for everything that brings to the parks.
We are SO ready for all the holiday decorations, all the holiday food (the thing we might get MOST excited about), Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and more. But we’re also STOKED to be able to ride Jingle Cruise, the holiday version of Jungle Cruise. So let’s head on over to Adventureland to catch our boat!
So, yes, that’s right. The World Famous Jungle Cruise takes on a holiday theme during the season and becomes the World Famous Jingle Cruise. You’ll find holiday decorations sprinkled throughout the ride’s queue and on the ride itself PLUS the skippers have some new holiday humor to share with you. So let’s hop in line for a holiday adventure. You’ll be feeling joyful the minute you step into the queue with all its added holiday details.
There are all sorts of holiday decorations to make you feel merry and bright. The idea is that the decorations have all been created from materials the crews already had on hand or were part of lost shipments.
There’s even a sign for Santa to remind him to stop here.
Instead of sailing, you’ll now go wassailing. Yep, the holiday jokes have started!
The boats have also been given new holiday names, like the Mistletoe Millie…
…the Brrrrr Bertha…
…the Wassail Wanda…
…and the Eggnog Annie!
Even the boat docks have been decked out.
Once you board the boat, it’s time to take a holiday cruise through the wild jungle.
The rhino is still getting his point across, but it looks like there might be some presents lying around for those adventurers…should they survive their adventure. We don’t think they’re getting down from that pole anytime soon, though.
The camp that’s been trashed by the gorillas is a little more festive and now the gorillas are basically having a holiday party.
Trader Sam’s has become Trader Samta’s (the jokes never disappoint, do they?) and now features holiday decor and any gifts you might need to get a jump start on your holiday shopping.
We have to say this is one of the things we look forward to most during the holiday season in Disney World.
But we’ll be covering ALL the holiday things here, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more.
