As a Former Disney World Cast Member, I Saw Visa Cardholders MISS This Exclusive Perk All the Time

When you go to Disney World pretty much every single day, you start to notice things that most people walk right past without any thought. Turns out that there are a LOT of special experiences, events, and even meet and greets happening right under our noses. You just have to know where to look!

But when it comes to secret things in Disney World, the real experts are Cast Members! Take it from a former Cast Member — Disney guests are missing some of the BEST experiences in the parks. So, let’s talk about one Disney Visa cardholder perk that NO ONE seems to know about in EPCOT.

Tucked away deep in the back corner of EPCOT is the Disney Visa Cardmember Photo Opportunity at EPCOT. Just reading the name, you might think this is some kind of photo op or PhotoPass experience. But it’s actually a character meet-and-greet! This spot is easy to miss, but it’s worth visiting.

To get to the meet-and-greet, walk over to the Imagination Pavilion and go up the hill past the fountain. The building is right next to the Disney Pixar Short Film Festival. The glass windows are tinted, and there aren’t any obvious character signs, so many Disney Visa cardholders have no idea what’s inside this unassuming little building.

So, who’s inside? Well, it’s a surprise! In the past, guests have met classic Disney characters like Minnie, Pluto, and more.

During the 50th Anniversary celebration, Minnie, Pluto, Mickey, and Goofy were all dressed up in their snazzy celebration outfits! Oh, and all the PhotoPass photos taken here are FREE — that means no watermark!

This is such an underrated spot!

You never know who you might meet at this location, though, so check back from time to time to see who turns up! All you need to enter is your Disney Visa card (or some kind of proof that you are a cardholder, like your digital card via Apple Wallet). The line is normally SUPER short since no one knows about this place. But beware! The hours are a little funky; this spot is open from 1PM-6:30PM.
