Hey, remember that time an actual BEAR was found in Magic Kingdom and half the park had to shut down as a result? (It was yesterday, so probably you remember it. ?)

Nope, not this bear
We’ve got good news to share about how the story ended!
Several lands in Magic Kingdom were closed as Disney worked with local wildlife experts to remove a real-life bear from the theme park. The bear had wandered into the park “likely searching for food,” according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC). (We’re pretty sure she was just interested in learning more about the re-theme announced for Country Bear Jamboree, but either story seems plausible.)

Biologists with the FWC’s Bear Management Program and FWC Law Enforcement officers captured the bear for relocation. Now, according to Fox News, the bear has been released back into the wild.

The FWC shared a video of the black bear — an adult female — being released into the Ocala National Forest in Marion County (which is about 90 minutes away from Disney World).

Looks like a very small bear. Maybe 100 pounds or less. Loss from his mother.
I am glad they didn’t have to put her down. She looks skinny, but I am used to seeing much larger black bears in East Tennessee and in the Allegheny Mountains.
Looks like he’s got the Bear Necessities of Life now.
How did she get it without a ticket!? I need her to give a tour ??
I wonder who spotted it first. Was it before opening hours? Does Disney have a room with all of those screens focusing on all of the grounds? I’d love to know more details of who spotted this bear first.
So happy they didn’t kill it, so many bears getting shot these days. Happy endings are good for the soul.
Maybe the bear was taking Wendels advice from the Country Bear Jamboree and look for a ladder to go up and see Tilda Berra.
She’ll be back – next time with the kids. Who can resist a vist to the Most Magical Place on Earth?
