SURPRISE REOPENING: Mint Julep Bar Is BACK in Disneyland!

Mint Julep Bar!!

One of our favorite snack spots in Disneyland — the Mint Julep Bar — has been closed for a while as Disney renovates French Market Restaurant to become Tiana’s Palace. We got a sneak peek at the new Tiana’s Palace Restaurant recently, but it’s not expected to officially open until September 7th. We thought that would be when Mint Julep Bar also reopens, but now it looks like our beloved snack spot has opened EARLY!

We noticed today that the Mint Julep Bar was showing opening hours once again, from 8AM to 11PM. Mobile Order was also available on the app!

We placed a Mobile Order just to be sure this wasn’t a glitch, but sure enough, it went through!

According to the menu on the app, the prices for our beloved Mickey beignets have NOT increased. The offerings also have not changed. You can get a 3-pack of Mickey beignets for $5.49 or a 6-pack of Mickey beignets for $8.99.

Unfortunately, you can’t really see inside Tiana’s Palace yet — there are construction walls blocking that area.

But the pathway over to the Mobile Order window was open, so we’re just happy we could get our beignets!

According to Disneyland’s website, the Mint Julep Bar is going to be open daily from 8AM to 11PM.

Love those beignets

Don’t forget that you’ll be able to get beignets inside Tiana’s Palace Restaurant too, but they won’t be Mickey-shaped. However, the ones there are modeled after a lemon icebox pie, with a tart filling and lemon glaze, so it’s a bit of a trade-off!
