Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has OFFICIALLY begun in Magic Kingdom for the fall season and with it, we’re seeing the “Boo to You” parade return, Jack Skellington narrating the Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular themed fireworks, and tons of rides still open for you to scream the night away. All of that sounds fun, but what we’re really interested in is the FOOD!
If you’re taking a quick break from trick or treating around the park and find yourself hungry for just a little bit more, there are some exclusive treats that are only available for purchase during the event (not during normal park hours). Come with us as we try out a few of those special treats!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event requiring a separate ticket for entry. In 2023, the event will take place on select nights from August 11th through November 1st. Although there are some Halloween treats available all day long in Magic Kingdom, others only come out for the party.

Right now, we’re heading to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to try out the Zombie Fingers, Terrifyin’ Twice Spiced Chicken Sandwich, Snarling Snub, and River Stix Elixir!
The Zombie Fingers are made of almond cookie fingers, key lime pie white chocolate ganache, salted caramel crisp pearls, and sugar eyes and cost $6.49.
This tastes EXACTLY like key lime pie! It’s got the tartness of key lime pie, giving it a bit of a tang, and the “fingers” are like soft cookies, which we really enjoyed. Overall this is shareable and a great dessert to grab if you love key lime flavor.
The Terrifyin’ Twice Spiced Chicken Sandwich is made of a spicy fried chicken breast dipped in hot honey topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño poppers, and bacon and costs $12.99.
We were SO impressed by this. We loved the jalapeño popper — it gives it such a unique flavor and pairs really well with the fried chicken. The only downfalls of this sandwich were that the bun was a little dry, and the bacon’s texture wasn’t great. We’d actually prefer it without the bacon and with another jalapeño popper. This is a super hearty meal though, so keep that in mind!
The Snarling Snub is made of a meatball sub with spicy marinara, pesto, and pearl mozzarella teeth — all served on a black roll and costs $11.99.
This was our favorite overall, even though the bun was WAY too dry. We loved the meatballs (although they’re basic), and the marinara sauce has a red pepper heat that hits you on the back end, which we enjoyed. The pesto also adds an amazing element that brings it all together. We even thought it was better than a Subway sandwich, so yeah, pretty impressive for a theme park party sandwich!
The River Stix Elixir is made with kiwi lemonade with luster dust and costs $5.49.
While this drink definitely has an artificial flavor to it, it doesn’t taste like candy, which we appreciated — similar to the artificialness of Minute Maid lemonade! The kiwi flavor is pretty strong, but it’s quite refreshing and summery. We’d totally get it again!
There’s more where that treat came from, though! Make sure to check out ALL of the treats available at the party before you go.

Don’t want to pay extra for treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Don’t worry — you can skip the restaurants and just trick-or-treat around the park instead. The candy is your typical Halloween goodies, but hey — it’s all sugar, right?

What time do they start serving these Halloween items? At 4 pm when you can enter the park, or at 7 pm when the party officially starts? I can’t find that info anywhere. Thanks.
Hi Anna! The treats will be available when the party officially starts.
