You Can DoorDash McDonald's to Your Disney World Hotel. Here's How.

Disney World has some amazing restaurants and snacks — we would know! But sometimes you need something else.

If you’re back at your Disney hotel after a long day in the parks, you might find yourself hungry. While most Disney resorts have quick-service restaurants or food courts, they tend close at 11 PM. So maybe it’s late at night, or maybe you’re just craving a Big Mac. Have no fear — did you know you could DoorDash McDonald’s to Your Disney World hotel? We’re here to tell you how.

The first thing you’ll want to do is call down to the lobby to ask what is the best way to have food delivered to this resort. Each Disney resort might have a different process on where they will hold your food or if they have the availability to store it in the refrigerator. This is also a good time to confirm the hotel’s address.

First, let’s say you’re staying at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. You can do this to any Disney World hotel, we’ll just use the Polynesian Resort as an example. You’re going to want to sign in or create a DoorDash account either on your mobile device through the app or the browser.

Once logged in, you’ll type in the hotel’s full address. You’ll want to use the address the Cast Member confirmed earlier. TIP: Be sure to not type in your hotel room number. You don’t want to give that out and drivers will not deliver to your hotel room door.

Once you enter your address, it will list the restaurant options that you could choose from. We’re going to select McDonalds.

Once you have selected your restaurant, it will show the delivery fee, estimated delivery time, and the location of the restaurant. It will also show if the restaurant is taking orders at this time.

Next, choose the menu items you would like to chow down on in your Disney hotel room. We’re going with the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal. You’ll choose your side and your drink as well. TIP: Be sure to request utensils if you will need them. While some Disney resort rooms have utensils, those are typically DVC villas. You don’t want to be stuck hunting down silverware at 1 AM.

Once you add your meal to your cart, you’ll be able to see the shipping options. This includes Express, Standard, or Schedule for later. You will also want to double-check that your hotel address is correct.

You can select the “Hand it to me” option if you would like. However, this is where you’ll want to leave a message for the drive with any additional information that Cast Members may have provided you earlier. For example, if that hotel takes deliveries at Bell Services, let the driver know. Please note that deliveries to your hotel room directly will not be allowed. TIP: If you ordered sauce or requested silverware, be sure to let your driver know to check for those items.

Finally, you will place your order. Here you will be able to add any promo codes you have — be sure to check your emails or DoorDash’s website. You will also see the delivery fee and fees & taxes as well as being able to add a tip for the driver.

You might notice that the price is more expensive than your regular McDonald’s order. In general, prices are often higher when you order for delivery than they are on the menu board at many restaurants. You will want to keep your phone on hand once you place the order in case the delivery driver has any questions about your location or your meal. If McDonald’s had your order incorrect, you can contact DoorDash and they will help you resolve the issue.
