How You Can Meet 8 Incredibly RARE Disney Characters

We’ve seen our fair share of characters in the Disney parks.

Of course, there are the classics like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto, and occasionally we see some less familiar faces like Mary Poppins or the Three Little Pigs. But, some extremely rare characters are coming to an exclusive event, and we’ve got all the details!

Disney previously announced that a new Disneyland After Dark theme would be arriving at Disneyland this spring! Folks will soon be able to experience Throwback Nite. We’ve seen versions of this theme take place in the past, so we know they’ll be SO much fun.

But, we just learned some seriously exciting new details about the event thanks to Scott Gustin on Twitter! Throwback Nite will feature appearances from RARE characters like Mother and Father from the Carousel of Progress and the Tomorrowland Space Couple!

We got a look at the full guide and park map for the event, and we are loving the retro vibes!

You’ll find plenty of useful info inside about where you can meet these iconic characters, when to catch the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks, and more.

In addition to Mother and Father and the Tomorrowland Space Couple, Dumbo, Hyacinth Hippo and Mademoiselle Upanova, and Mr. Morrow from Flight to the Moon will be making appearances as well! If you love meeting rare Disney characters, this sounds like a can’t-miss event!

Throwback Nite is only happening on two nights — April 18th and April 20th. Tickets on the 18th are $129 and are $145 on the 20th. Tickets are still available, so be sure to grab yours NOW if you want to see these rare character encounters.
