Disney World has announced that Annual Passes will resume sales SOON, on April 20th, 2023. But some people will be able to grab a pass EARLY.

If you’re a member of the Disney Vacation Club, you have access to some perks like special discounts and access to exclusive events. And now, you’ll be able to get one of the Annual Passes for Disney World several days before it becomes available to others. Check out all the details!
New sales for Disney World Annual Passes will resume for most people starting on April 20th, 2023. However, Disney announced that eligible DVC Members will be able to buy the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online starting on April 13th!
DVC Members do not have to be Florida residents to purchase this pass.

The number of available Annual Passes will be limited, so this gives you a head start on purchasing your pass. In an email sent to DVC Members, Disney stated that “the DVC Sorcerer Pass is expected to be on sale more often throughout the year, even when the pass is not broadly available for sale to Florida residents.”
The Sorcerer Pass costs $969 plus tax. This pass does come with some blockout dates “during select holiday periods” and allows guests to hold up to 5 Disney Park Pass Reservations at a time.

The Incredi-Pass and Pirate Pass will become available for everyone to purchase on April 20th, and Pixie Dust Pass sales were not paused, so that pass will also be available.

NEW AP card
Disney notes that the number of passes for sale will be limited, and any pass type “may become unavailable for purchase at any time.” So if you’ve been waiting to purchase your pass, you’ll want to hurry and get one ASAP. Set your alarms for April 13th!

Disney has confirmed that the online purchase strategy may include a waiting room as it did the last time Annual Passes went on sale.
Disney confirmed that “as always, during your renewal window, you may choose to renew into any available pass type with a special renewal benefit.” However, if you want to upgrade your pass outside of your renewal window, you will be able to do that starting on April 20th. Disney sent a message to Annual Passholders stating that “existing Passholders will have the option to upgrade their Annual Pass, outside of their renewal window, online. The difference in prices must be paid in full at the time of the upgrade and the new Pass will have the same expiration date as the original pass.”

Done with Disney World trips until the park reservation system changes/goes away. An annual pass with blackout dates and park reservations isn’t makes vacation planning more work than its worth.
This does not entice me one bit. DVC member here. I’ll continue to enjoy the many resorts and amenities available. Until Disney ends park reservations, brings back normal hopping hours, and ditches Genie+, my family will not be visiting the parks. Plenty to do without spending a ton of money for mediocre entertainment.
Great news. I’m curious, as a DVC member, if we have to call to purchase as we have in the past when it was available? Will it be strictly online for the early April 13 window for DVC?
Does anyone have any insight into when the passes will go live on April 20th? Or even when the passes became available on the 13th for DVC members?
Hi Michaela! Disney stated that passes will go on sale “no earlier than 6am EST” if that helps!
Regarding, Disney Sorcerer Pass, I am a DVC member and am eligible to purchase the Sorcerer pass. I am booked at a resort in WDW in November with my fiancé . Will I be able to purchase a Sorcerer Pass for both of us?
Does anyone have the answer to that?
