Avatar: The Way of Water

The 95th Academy Awards were held on Sunday, March 12th, and The Walt Disney Company had a total of seven movies nominated for various awards. Disney’s nominees included a few of the most talked-about films of the past year, like Avatar: The Way of Water, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Turning Red. Here’s a FULL LIST of the awards Disney took home at the ceremony!

Without further ado, here are all the Oscars that The Walt Disney Company won at the 95th Academy Awards, per CNN.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever took home an Oscar for its costumes! Ruth E. Carter, the lead costume designer for both the sequel and original Black Panther movie, is the first Black woman to take home two Academy Awards.

Avatar: The Way of Water took home the award for Best Visual Effects, beating out blockbuster hits All Quiet on The Western Front and Top Gun: Maverick.

… and that’s it! It may not seem like a lot, but there were plenty of amazing films that came out this year. We’re sure the Academy had a difficult time deciding the winners!
