Disney executives have been in the news since Bob Iger returned to Disney as CEO in November 2022.
One of these executives is Josh D’Amaro, the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, who has commented on many of Disney’s recent changes. He shared that Disney is “constantly adapting” its business to create a “better experience for guests, and to build a foundation so we can introduce new stories and experiences in the future.” It looks like D’Amaro wants to get a closer look at the guest experience because we spotted him in Magic Kingdom!
We were riding the PeopleMover when we saw Josh D’Amaro walking near Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. (which is currently closed for refurbishment).
It is unknown exactly why he is in the park, but because of his location, it may have something to do with the upcoming TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction. It appears that he is with other Disney employees walking amongst the guests.
This is not uncommon for Disney executives to be in the park — we’ve spotted Josh D’Amaro and former CEO Bob Chapek before.
We’ll continue to watch out for Disney executives or celebrities in the park, so stay tuned to DFB for updates! In the meantime, check out our video on Bob Iger’s stark changes announced for Disney.

Why was Josh in the parks? Because he is chairman of the parks! It is surprising that having leadership in the parks makes news, but this likely is because Chapek wasn’t as engaged with cast members and guests when he was in the same role as Josh. Keep in mind that Walt Disney was frequently in Disneyland. It’s what good leaders do.
