The past few years have challenged Disney World with a host of supply problems.
This store has been closed
From noodle shortages to ketchup shortages to merchandise shortages, Disney World has navigated a lot of problems. There was even an issue with low stock at a store in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that had to close as a result! However, that store has just reopened!
Back in November 2021, we noticed that Beverly Sunset Boutique in Hollywood Studios had been closed for several days. At the time, a Cast Member told us that Disney was so low in stock on merchandise that there wasn’t enough to put in the store. We expected to see the store reopen in several months, but it has been closed ever since…until now.
Today, Beverly Sunset Boutique reopened!

We stepped inside to see what the merchandise situation looked like, and it seems like they have plenty of stuff now, including a lot of fun Monsters, Inc. items!

We weren’t the only people in the store either — other guests were doing a bit of shopping while we were there, too. There was plenty to look at!

So it seems that the merchandise supply problems Disney was having last year is taking steps forward, at least for now. We’ll keep an eye on things, though!
Remember if you can’t get to Disney World, you can still do a lot of parks shopping online — you’ll find many items over on shopDisney, including a TON of 50th anniversary souvenirs!
