It has been a busy week at Disney World!
We had a new restaurant opening, the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and lots of new merchandise, all within the past few days. For EPCOT in particular, there has been a lot going on, and today we’re sharing all the updates you missed if you haven’t visited recently!
EPCOT Food Updates
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company
Starting out at Joffrey’s, we have the return of fall drinks! The Pumpkin Pie Latte and the Pumpkin Game Changer are returning for $6.09 and $6.69 respectively, and the Caramel Apple Chai Latte is another fall addition for $6.09.
It may still be hot out, but Disney’s ready for those fall vibes! Check out our review of the latte below.

House of Good Fortune
Over in the China Pavilion, House of Good Fortune is known for having some unique snacks available amongst all the merchandise. One of the most popular is the Lay’s chips, and this week we noticed some new flavors on display.
If you’re just itching to try out flavors of potato chips like Roasted Fish, then make sure to stop in here during your next visit to the park.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
In major food updates, it’s important to note that the final four EPCOT Food & Wine Festival booths have officially opened! Coastal Eats, Hawai’i, Mac & Eats, and The Noodle Exchange are now open for business.
We stopped by to try out all the new booths on August 15th, and we’ve got some THOUGHTS! Make sure to check out our reviews.

EPCOT Construction Updates
World Celebration/World Nature
We had quite a few construction changes this week, starting with the EPCOT transformation. Construction is progressing near Guest Relations, in between Spaceship Earth and the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind show building. We noticed a few new additions to this area in the form of landscaping and equipment, so we’ll keep a close watch to see what comes next.
In the middle of the park, things are moving along with the area that will soon become Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. New faux rock structures are being added each week, and it’s starting to form a path to look more and more like the concept art.
We can’t wait to check out all these new additions!
Japan Pavilion
Mitsukoshi Department Store is still under construction in EPCOT, but things have changed a bit. The black construction tarps are now covering a large section on the left side of the store, and they’re no longer blocking areas that they covered before.
It seems as though specific parts of the store are getting updates, one section at a time. We’ll keep watching to see if anything changes.
World Showcase Plaza
As you head into World Showcase from World Nature, you may notice a construction wall. This area was previously covered by scrim, but a black wall has now gone up near the old Starbucks location.
This spot has been home to a playground during EPCOT festivals in the past, so we’re interested to see if that changes now that the Starbucks location has moved.
Parking Lot
And finally, let’s talk about the parking lot. We spotted two construction zones out here this week, with one located directly behind the Cosmic Rewind show building. There was a large crew of construction workers in the area, moving dirt and leveling the land.
Also, the Create Parking Lot was paved this past week and blocked off during one of our visits. We’re glad to see it get a little refresh!
Keep in mind that trams are still not back at EPCOT, so guests will be walking to their cars through the parking lot. Those who arrive earliest in the morning have traditionally been parked the furthest away.
EPCOT Attractions Updates
MagicBand+
MagicBand+ launched in Disney World a few weeks ago, and this week we noticed a special feature when guests visit the new rides in EPCOT — it lights up! At the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride exit, the band lit up and vibrated…
…and at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, it turned red, white, and blue. How fun!
These bands also interact with the Disney Fab 50 character statues around the park, as well as the two new fireworks shows — Disney Enchantment and Harmonious.

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Creations Shop
And finally, let’s talk merchandise. There’s a LOT of it this week, so buckle up and hold on! In Creations Shop, we found the new Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar Spirit Jersey for $74.99. It matches the ears!
There were also several new keychains this week, including a fluffy Kermit the frog design…
…a Mickey Mouse keychain…
…a keychain made to look like Stitch…
…one for the Rescue Rangers…
…and even a White Rabbit keychain! This guy doesn’t get a lot of love on Disney merchandise, so we’re excited to see it.
If you want something a little more unique, get the Pumbaa Puff keychain. It’s so fluffy!
But that’s not all! There’s a Mickey head keychain…
…a Minnie Mouse keychain…
…one inspired by Marie from The Aristocats…
…a Bambi keychain…
…and finally, a Winnie the Pooh keychain. You can grab any of these designs for $14.99.
The Disney Princess collection got some new clothes and accessories this week that we think you’ll want to check out. First up, there’s this new romper for adults for $69.99.
The flowy pink skirt is available for $49.99…
…or you could nab this purple outfit for $69.99.
There are two new dresses, both of which are $69.99. The first is a muted color…
…and the other one is yellow. This collection is so cute!
And to top it all off, get the Disney Princess Collection headband for $19.99.
But that isn’t all the new apparel we spotted! We also got a kids’ Star Wars tee for $19.99.

If you’re big on slap bracelets, then you definitely need to pick up this new design for the Halloween season. Grab one for $9.99.
Need some new phone accessories? Two new Orange Bird Annual Passholder Phone Cases arrived this week, each priced at $29.99.
Even though we don’t need any more Disney mugs, we’re definitely tempted to add this Olaf Mug to our collection for $14.99.
Disney bags and wallets are typically pretty popular, and we have a feeling this Cinderella Wallet is going to be the same! Get it for $29.99
And finally, we’ve got the Infinity Stones Briefcase, which would make a great souvenir for Marvel fans!
Grab the briefcase for $39.99 in the Cosmic Rewind merchandise section of the store.
Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay
Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay is home to a fair amount of Star Wars and other space-themed merchandise, and this week we found two new items. First, there’s the Baby Yoda/Grogu Onesie for $24.99.
We also spotted this very cool Star Wars Cantina Pin!
You can get it for $17.99.
Test Track Simporium
Alice in Wonderland fans need to head to an unexpected place to find these two new souvenirs — the gift shop at the end of Test Track!
Two new pins dropped in the Simporium this week, and you can get them for $9.99 each.
We’re not sure why Disney chose this particular store for these pins — it just goes to show that you never know what you’ll find in the gift shops.
Disney Traders
In Disney Traders at the front of World Showcase, we got two new pins and a t-shirt. The two Halloween pins feature Goofy and the adorable Pluto! Grab them for $9.99 each.
And oddly enough, there was also a Disneyland T-Shirt in here!
We sometimes spot merchandise on the opposite coast, and if you’re prepping for a Disneyland trip as well, grab it for $29.99.
La Princesa de Cristal
Inside the Mexico Pavilion, we found this lovely Mickey Pumpkin jewelry set. There’s a necklace…
…as well as matching earrings! They’re perfect for fall or a visit to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Get the earrings for $42.99.
Gifts of Morocco
In the Morocco Pavilion, we found more Jasmine merchandise! (We’ve seen a few new items here recently.) There’s a new backpack for $98.
Or if you want something a bit fancier, check out the purse for $98.
We love these designs!
Pin Traders
Pin Traders at the front of the park was home to several new items this week, including a Donald Duck Dooney & Bourke MagicBand for $58.
We also got a bunch of new pins, including designs from Zootopia and Bambi. There’s a Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps pin for $12.99.
Or you can get the individual character pins for $9.99 each. Here’s Nick…
…and here’s Judy.
Four new Bambi pins arrived. The family pin is $17.99.
There’s Bambi in front of a wood slice for $19.99…
…the movie poster pin for $17.99…
…and the design with Bambi, Thumper, and Flower.
This one is available for $19.99.
Port of Entry
And finally, our last item of merchandise is the new Disney World Pop Socket we found in Port of Entry for $16.99.
That’s everything new in EPCOT this week, but we’ll be visiting the park more throughout the next few days, so stay tuned. We’re keeping a close eye on the park’s transformation, including all the construction projects that are ongoing.
And with that 40th Anniversary coming up soon, we’re excited to see what the celebrations are like. We can’t wait!
