Did you know that Disney is making another Haunted Mansion movie?!

Disney already made one Haunted Mansion movie in 2003 starring Eddie Murphy, but it wasn’t exactly what you would call a major hit. So, they’re trying it again! The new movie will come out in 2023. We’ve already seen a logo for the film, as well as found out plot and cast details. And now, we think we know who will playing one of the most legendary characters from the ride!
Actress Jamie Lee Curtis appeared to confirm that she will be playing Madame Leota in the upcoming Haunted Mansion movie Disney is making! She posted the following on her Instagram page:
All she put in the caption was an emoji of a crystal ball, so is that her confirming the news?! It certainly doesn’t seem like she’s denying it!

Jamie Lee Curtis is no stranger to starring in spooky films — she’s known for her lead role in the iconic Halloween films and has also done projects like the horror-comedy TV show Scream Queens.

She is also the daughter of the original scream queen, Janet Leigh, who starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, which is widely considered the first slasher film in the horror genre. So, it’s safe to say that Jamie Lee Curtis knows spooky, and who better to play the legendary Madame Leota?!
This also wouldn’t be the first time that Jamie Lee Curtis has worked with Disney. Remember Freaky Friday with her and Lindsay Lohan? It’s hard to forget Curtis completely crushing that guitar solo!

The premise of the movie is that a doctor and her 9-year-old son are looking to start a new life, so they move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans. They soon discover that the place is MUCH more than they bargained for! Looking for help, they get in touch with a priest, who enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert, a French Quarter psychic, and a crotchety historian.

Another Haunted Mansion movie will be interesting to see. I was surprised to realize that Eleanor Audley, who was an amazing Madame Leota on the record, has never been made a Disney Legend. How can that stand?
We love the haunted mansion Ride and the Eddie Murphy is a great one we have it and love to watch it we hope it will b good one with jamie lee Curtis n it need to give a try that’s our favorite attraction n the magic kingdom
