It’s finally here!!!
Yes, the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival has officially kicked off, and we’ve been busy checking out all the UH-MAZING food including fried cheese, tasty poutine, and delicious desserts. We’re not done yet, though, because there’s MORE to eat! So, let’s head on over to the Ireland booth to see what this year’s offerings are!
Menu
The Ireland booth is located right before the U.K. pavilion if you’re coming from Canada.
As you may have suspected, everything at the Ireland booth is inspired by the Emerald Isle. We’re talking about a seafood pie, sausage, and Bailey’s!
So let’s dig in!
Food
Everything at the Ireland booth is returning this year, including the Fisherman’s Seafood Pie for $6.75. This is warm and savory, with the top layer crispy and adding an nice texture. The inside filling is super creamy and filled with veggies and seafood.
If you like seafood, you might be a fan of this! But be warned that it is kinda heavy. If you’re not a seafood person, we would not grab this item — it’s a warm seafood pie, and we don’t think people who dislike fishy flavors would enjoy this. This pie is only for seafood lovers!
Next up is the Roasted Irish Sausage with colcannon potatoes and onion gravy for $5.50. This is also a returning item. This sausage was nice and savory but we honestly didn’t think it was anything special. It was nice that it was a more hearty sausage, but it reminded us a little of just the average breakfast sausage you get at restaurants around Disney World.
The gravy is tasty, but nothing to write home about. You can definitely taste the onions but they’re not overpowering which is nice if you’re not the biggest onion fan in the world. The mashed potatoes take on the onion gravy flavor a lot and they’re not super creamy but they’re not very chunky either — they are on the thicker and chewier side though!
The dessert here is Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake with Irish cream liqueur custard for $4.75. We LOVED this dish before — It’s so rich and chocolatey with just a hint of flavor from the booze. The chocolate pudding cake has that signature Bailey’s flavor and the cream gets really melted on top of the cake. We were expecting the treat to be completely melted on top in a gross way from the looks of it, but it really wasn’t at all!
The chocolate cake held up really well and it had a nice texture and then melted in your mouth. The chocolate itself is very rich and decadent as well. If you like Irish cream and chocolate, you’ll probably love this, and it is tasty, but otherwise we wouldn’t go out of your way to grab this dessert!
If you love chocolate, make a beeline for the Ireland booth — you can thank us later!
Drinks
Every drink at the Ireland booth this year is also returning, including the Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale, which is $5 for a 6 oz. and $9 for a 12 oz, as well as the Bunratty Mead Honey Wine, which is $6. But what we get excited about is the returning Guinness Baileys Coffee Shake for $11.50. It even comes with its own souvenir cup!
This delicious shake has made our best of the fest list in the past. The stout flavor with the chocolate makes this a wonderful drink, so be sure to try it out!
Overall
Overall, this booth has a lot of HEAVY foods that might weigh you down, especially if you eat everything! We wouldn’t eat all of this right before you get on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, that’s for sure. But, if you’re looking for some heartier dishes with those classic Irish flavors, you should stop on by! If you drink alcohol, we’d definitely get that Guinness Baileys Coffee Shake so you can take home the cup!

I’d deffo argue that the pudding at Ireland is the best dessert. We go every year to F&W and having had just about every dessert offered the pudding is the one I always come back to. The Kilkenny’s, which we can’t get in the states sadly, hits the spot too. Tied for my love was a raspberry hefeweizen at Germany that’s no longer available
Warm chocolate pudding cake from Ireland is the best dessert on the planet!!! Going to Epcot today just to get some!! Been looking forward to this all year ?
