It’s not easy to find a Disney World snack under $5, but they do exist!
In EPCOT, you can grab a Full Baguette from Les Halles Boulangerie for $3.50, or try the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for $4.99. There’s another snack under $5 but we have to warn you — it can be a bit divisive!
If you love cinnamon and sugar, you can visit Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the Norway pavilion of EPCOT for some Lefse for $3.29! It’s made with a soft potato flatbread rolled with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. Sounds great, right? Well, not to everyone!
While some of the DFB team find this treat delicious, other people REALLY don’t like it! The flatbread has a unique potato flavor that might not appeal to everyone, and the filling is kind of a basic cinnamon sugar flavor, with a crunch from the sugar in the butter. Even if you like cinnamon toast, it’s not a guarantee that you’ll enjoy some Lefse!
Our team is quite divided over this treat, with some pointing out that it’s just a blah tortilla filled with sugar, while others said they’ll eat anything in a tortilla, especially cinnamon sugar butter. You might want to give it a try to see where you land in the Lefse debate!
If you’re looking for a sweet treat that you can easily take on the go, Lefse is a great option — plus it’s under $5! Just keep in mind that it might not be the cinnamon sugar treat you’re expecting. In the past, we have been advised to ask a Cast Member if they can heat up the Lefse, so you might want to ask if that’s an option during your visit!
If you’re not interested in Lefse, it’s not the only menu item worth a try at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe! You can try treats such as School Bread, Norwegian Kringla, Rice Cream, Eplekake, and lots more, with some of these treats also under $5! Wash it all down with a Frozen Viking Coffee, made with Baileys Irish Cream and Kamora Coffee Liqueur.
If you want to try Lefse, visit Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in EPCOT and let us know what you think! Keep following DFB for more Disney snack reviews!

There are at least five bakery treats under $5 at Kringla bakery, including my husband’s favorite rice pudding dessert. I do like lefse but I suggest wrapping it up for later (I carry plastic ziptop food bags for this purpose), then warm for a short burst in your resort food court microwave. Add some extra butter if you like. Great with hot coffee or tea.
I love lefse!
My son loves lefse but I think it’s meh, however, the school bread is great!
I’m celiac and the butter is amazing on the gluten free warm sweet bread roll they serve on the allergy menu! I’m not one to
Eat bread as gluten free is horrible but I get 2nds on these and my fussy eaters can’t wait for them
