From the removal of masks for fully vaccinated guests to huge deals on booking rooms, a lot is going on at Disney’s Aulani Resort! And, the announcements don’t stop there, if you’re planning on heading to Disney’s tropical resort anytime soon, Disney just shared more reopening news!
Since the resort reopened back in 2020, there’s been a lot for guests to do and experience to keep them busy, but there are STILL some things that haven’t returned yet. But, not for much longer! If you’ll be traveling with kiddos, we’ve got great news — Aunty’s Beach House is set to reopen on May 25th, 2022!
This kids club for those ages 5 to 12 is designed to feel like a house where they might visit their “aunty,” and has 6 colorful rooms dedicated to movies, computers, arts and crafts, games, and more! Parents can reserve playtime at this club between the hours of 8AM and 2PM. They’re able to select 1.5 hours of playtime for complimentary-themed activities on “Uncle’s Side” of the house, or 2 hours on “Aunty’s Side” for premium activities.

Free activities include arts and crafts and games based on the theme of the day, and premium activities include things like Surf’s Up (a dance party with Disney characters) and educational activities to learn about the ocean. Keep in mind that reservations are required to participate in both of these though.
The rest of the family can also join in on the fun with the “after hours” activities from 4PM-9PM. During this time, Aunty’s Beach House turns into an entertainment venue where families can choose from a variety of different free and paid-for activities, like playing the ukulele, partaking in animation lessons, and more!

Certain health and safety protocols will be in place when Aunty’s Beach House reopens — like face-coverings and physical distancing — so be sure to check what the current health measures are before your reservation! Reservations open on May 11th at 7AM Hawaii Standard Time and can then be made 2 weeks in advance. And, we’ll continue to keep you updated on all of Disney’s reopening news, so stay tuned to DFB!
