We’re having a great time at the opening night of the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event!
We’ve been trying some special treats, watched the new stage show, and saw the return of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. This After Hours event has replaced Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, and has come with a higher price tag. However, that price tag does include some freebies that you can get during the event!
Included with the cost of your ticket are a few free treats and snacks that you’ll definitely want to take advantage of. First of all, you can pick up complimentary popcorn, bottled drinks, and ice cream novelties at the snack carts all around the park.
These snacks are unlimited, so you can continue to stop by the carts throughout the night to get your fill.
Also, the Very Merriest After Hours offers free cookies and holiday beverages at stations all around Magic Kingdom, just like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
You can get free snickerdoodle cookies from Cheryl’s Cookies…
…and free hot cocoa!
And there are also free allergy friendly options! You can grab some Werther’s Original Sugar Free Chewy Caramels…
…or Lucy’s Cinnamon Thin Gluten Free Cookie.
The cookie is certified Vegan, and has no peanuts, no tree nuts, no milk, and no eggs.
You’ll find free cookie and beverage stops at the following spots around the park:
- Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland
- Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square
- Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland
- Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland.
There you have it — all the free treats that you can find around Magic Kingdom during Disney Very Merriest After Hours! We’ll continue sharing all the offerings from this event, so stay tuned to DFB.

Are they really free when you have to pay an additional inflated price to attend the event?
How on earth can you call anything at this event free? With what it cost to even attend this event nothing is free.
Nice to have all the free food, especially with the p[rice of the ticket.
Was the event worth the price…? That is what readers want to know…
Ken, our reporters who went to Very Merriest feel like it was a better value than Boo Bash, and it felt like there was a lot to do. Whether or not it’s worth it would probably depend on perspective, but one of our reporters said it was worth it to do it once, but she wouldn’t pay to attend again given the price.
