Although Disney World reopened over a year ago, there have been some activities that still haven’t returned to the resort.

Boat rentals are back!
We still haven’t seen the return of services like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, some resorts remain closed (but are scheduled to reopen by the end of the year), and some resort activities haven’t come back.
But as of today, one resort activity HAS returned — boat rentals. We stopped by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and saw that the Captain’s Shipyard there is once more offering boat rentals to guests.

Boat rentals have returned to Disney World
Here, guests can rent a Sun Tracker Pontoon for $45 per 30 minutes and $90 per 60 minutes. Each boat can only have a maximum of 10 guests and the boat operator must be at least 18 years old.

Boat rentals have not been available since Disney World’s reopening, so we’re excited to see the return of this service!

We also checked at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and boat rentals were available there now, too. Note that reservations are not required to rent a boat — rentals are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Contemporary Resort Boat Rentals
Boat rentals are available at these two resorts as well as Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness, according to the Disney World website.
Guests can also sign up for guided fishing excursions at both resorts (as well as at other resorts where fishing is available). This is just one more resort activity that has returned to Disney World, and if anything else comes back, we’ll be the first to let you know.

Don’t they have the little speed boats anymore? They were always so much fun; I think that they were called Sea Racers.
Essie, right now they do not have the little Sea Racers. We expect there’s a good chance they’ll be back, so we’ll keep an eye out.
