Beginning October 1st, there will be a lot of changes in Disney World.
Not only is October 1st the first day of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, but it will also mark the beginning of Early Theme Park Entry, the opening of Steakhouse 71, and even the first day Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be available to the public. If you have a park reservation for October 1st or later, you can now see the Early Theme Park Entry times, and here’s how!
Now on Disney World’s website, if you have a park reservation from October 1st and beyond, you can see the times for Early Theme Park Entry during your visit! If you’re staying at an eligible Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to enter your reserved Disney Park 30 minutes before opening.
From what we can see on the My Plans page in the My Disney Experience section of the website, you can only see the parks for which you have park reservations, even if you aren’t staying in an eligible Disney World hotel for those dates.
So make a note that seeing these times doesn’t necessarily mean you’re eligible for Early Theme Park Entry. Make sure you double-check with your hotel before arriving 30 minutes early!
Early Theme Park Entry debuts on October 1st for select hotels, so if you’d like to take advantage of that extra 30 minutes in a Disney Park, you can check the list of qualifying hotels here. Keep checking DFB for more Disney World planning news for your next visit!

I don’t understand why you are still talking about this. Thirty. minutes makes no difference and the busses have always started running earlier than opening time.
I’m assuming it would be wise not to drive your rental car to the parks if you’re staying at a Disney hotel to get in early? Cars will be held up at the gates longer and no way of knowing which cars have Disney hotel guests? Recommend not driving to get early access?
I have a trip planned for May and I do not see this on the My Plans page of the my Disney Experience. Am I doing something wrong or would it just not be posted this far away. Thank you
Kara, if your app is fully updated, it may just be that your trip is too far down the road. I find that most new features don’t appear unless I update the app, though.
