Space 220 is the EPCOT restaurant that we’ve been waiting for since it was announced in 2017.
Today Disney announced an opening timeline for the restaurant and gave us a first look inside this unique space-themed restaurant that will take guests 220 miles above EPCOT. We also got some menu details, so let’s discuss!
Disney has finally given us a few more details about Space 220 and we’re getting excited! After you’ve taken the “Space Elevator” to the restaurant, which is “220 miles above EPCOT,” you will enter the Centauri Space Station dining space. While dining, you will see a panoramic view of Earth and also Space Station activities taking place outside the restaurant windows!
And as for the space food, diners will be able to experience the talents of Executive Chef Marc Kusche. The Space 220 menu will feature a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner, with modern, upscale dishes. There will also be unique drinks, like “atmospheric cocktails.” Space drinks??
Space 220 is scheduled to open in Disney World in mid-September, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on Disney for announcements about the menu items and reservations. Keep reading DFB for all your Disney World restaurant news and updates!

Definitely want to go!!! Hoping to get reservations for October!
Has anyone else noticed that the entrance to Space 220 looks a lot like the entrance to The Wave restaurant in The Contemporary Resort which is now closed and being replaced by Steakhouse 71?
