Things are constantly changing at the Disney parks around the world. Since Disneyland reopened in California in late April, things at the resort have changed a LOT!
Hey Mickey!
Hotels have reopened, more restaurants have become available for guests to enjoy, and a brand new land (Avengers Campus) has even opened! And while fans have been able to say hello to Mickey and other Disney friends from a distance, one big thing has been missing from Disneyland…character dining. But soon, that’s going to change!
Today, Disney announced that character dining will be coming back to Disneyland Resort at 2 locations!
First, in Disneyland Park, Plaza Inn will soon be serving up the Minnie & Friends Breakfast. This character dining experience will reopen on August 12th and bookings will become available soon (but no exact date has been shared yet).

Character dining will also return to Storytellers Café in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with the Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast experience.
Minnie is ready for adventure!
This character breakfast will be available daily, and brunch will be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 AM to 1 PM. The character dining at Storytellers Cafe will reopen on July 22nd, and bookings will become available on July 20th!

Keep in mind that dining reservations can generally be made 60 days in advance for restaurants throughout Disneyland Resort. If you’re hoping to try one of these spots be sure to mark your calendars and check back with us for more updates.
