We are SO ready for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival? Bring it on!

The Swanky Swine Booth
We’re ready to hit the ground running at EPCOT to visit every single food booth and eat everything we can. And we’re especially excited about the eight new booths making their debut at the festival this year!
One of those new booths is The Swanky Saucy Swine, which has us intrigued just on its name alone!
Menu
As its name suggests, The Swanky Saucy Swine is all about pork and barbecue.

And we are here for some swine and barbecue flavors, so let’s get on to the review!

Crispy Barbecue Pork Rinds with Pimento Cheese
OH BOY, these were SPICY. They remind us of the pork rinds you can get a Ronto Roasters in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but seriously, they’ve got heat!

The pimiento cheese is uber creamy and has a slight flavor from the pepper but isn’t too hot. It helps to cool down the pork rinds!

Then it was onto the Roasted Porchetta with Pork-fat Roasted Rosemary Potatoes and Lemon-Parsley Salsa Verde for $6.25.

This dish absolutely WOWED us. Like, it might even have Best of the Fest wowed us. The meat was incredibly tender and the potatoes were PERFECTLY boiled. On top of that, you get AMAZING sweetness from the sauce to tie it all together!

And did someone say ribs? Oh, yeah. We dug into the Soy-glazed Sticky Ribs with Green Onions and Peanuts for $7. These are BEAUTIFUL and they taste as good as they look. They aren’t super saucy, but that meat is so smokey and tender.

Finally, we were very curious about the Crispy Pig Ear Salad with Fire Roasted Tomatillo Sauce, Pickled Red Onions, Queso Fresco, Roasted Corn Salsa, and Avocado Cream.

Prepare to be shocked, this salad was our favorite item here (yes, really). It’s a shocking plate but BOY is it fabulous! The pig ear tastes like crispy, salty bacon and there’s a nice heat from the tomatillo. Then, the roasted corn and avocado cream come in to balance it all. Our only wish is that it had more cheese, but honestly, all the flavors and textures sing. We loved it!

Could this booth be a contender for best booth of the whole fest? It just might be…but let’s check out those drinks before we get ahead of ourselves!

Drinks
Of course, we’ve gotta have some drinks. At this booth, wine drinkers can snag the Rombauer Zinfandel for $9.50. For the beer drinkers, we tried the Parish Brewing Co. SIPS Pinot Noir Black Currant Sour for $5 for 6 oz. or $9 for 12 oz. If you like a sour, you’ll probably like this! It was very refreshing, even without being the lightest beer.

But it’s Bloody Mary time. And this one is a Bourbon Bloody Mary with Labrot & Graham Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey for $11. This was a VERY good Bloody Mary.

And yes, that’s a FULL PIECE of candied bacon.

It wasn’t super spicy and it had a pretty notable Bourbon taste that brought a smokey note. And you get to keep the cute cup!

Overall
Alright, TBH, The Swanky Sauce Swine TOTALLY held up — and thank goodness with a cool name like that. It’s always surprising when a new booth launches itself into best booth of the fest territory, but this one is definitely a contender.

The only thing it’s missing is a sweet option, but there are PLENTY of booths with tasty treats. If you’re a meat-eater, this booth is a must-visit. Now, if you need us, we’ve got more eating to do! Follow along with us LIVE for the rest of the fest!
