We’re at Disney World every day, and we have certain products that we swear by.

What do you pack in your day bag?
We’re talking about the things that we actually use while we’re at the parks — those things that are so handy that we simply can’t live without them. And we’re sharing those items with you so that you can be as prepared as us on your next Disney World Trip. So get your packing list handy, and let’s get started!
We’ve told you countless times to get a phone charger. Or a cooling towel. Or sunscreen. But what brands do WE turn to day in and day out in Disney World? Let’s find out!
Technology
Mobile Chargers
Now that MagicBands are no longer free, and Disney has introduced even more features to handle MagicBand duties in the My Disney Experience app, it’s even harder to keep your smartphone charged during a day at the parks because you’re ALWAYS using it!
That’s why having a mobile charger is an absolute must — because you WILL need to charge your phone at least once during the day if you’re using it for everything! If we feel we’re going to need a LOT of charging, we’ll bring this PowerStation Charger with us.
You can charge multiple devices multiple times with this kind of charger, which makes it well worth the price.

If you want to carry a more lightweight, compact charger, though, we can recommend this iWalk Mini Portable Charger — it’s basically the size of a lipstick container and will fit into any size bag!
This charger comes in fun colors, too, and is more affordable. These are great to have as a backup or if we’re in a hurry and don’t want to lug around the bigger charger.

Bags and Accessories
That Florida sunshine gets BRIGHT (it is called “The Sunshine State,” after all) and you need to protect your eyes when you’re running around in it. We love these Be One Polarized Sunglasses because they’re perfect for a day at the park. They’re also stylish and come in a variety of colors.

©Amazon
Polarized is a must for us — it kills a ton of glare and just makes things easier on the eyes. A few styles come in a warmer colored lens too, which can still allow colors you’re seeing to pop when you’re wearing them. Plus they’re nice and wide so no fogging up! And best of all, they’re inexpensive. We don’t feel so bad when we lose these!

One of the biggest questions we get is what bags we like to use to carry our stuff in, and we think a good sling bag is both a comfortable and stylish way to carry all our daily necessities around in. We like this Kavu Rope Bag because it’s proven itself as a good day bag, but it’s also available in a huge variety of styles.

©Amazon
The external pockets also come in handy for staying organized. Plus the colors are just mega fab. This is a rock-solid option if you want a no-frills and comfy bag without a lot of bulk that still can hold a ton.

If you’ve got an infant with you that’s still in diapers, though, you’re going to need a little something more. And we’re big fans of the Suguroo Stitch Diaper Bag Backpack because it’s easy to strap onto your shoulders like a backpack AND it’s waterproof — and you know how important that is in Florida when it can rain at any given second!
The best thing with backpack-style diaper bags is you don’t have to stop using them when your kiddo is out of diapers! Diaper bags are smartly designed with loads of compartments to stash everything your baby (or you!) could need.

Sunscreen and Makeup
The Florida sunshine is also brutal and we will always remind you to wear sunscreen every time you’re going to be outside!
For our face, we like the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless Face Sunscreen, which is also SPF 30. Don’t forget to protect your face, too!

©Target
You know how SO MANY face sunscreens feel slimy all day long? Yuck. No thank you. This soaks right in leaving you moisturized but not greasy. This one is available at Target.

For kids, we like the Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids Sunscreen Spray because it’s SPF 70 AND water-resistant, making it perfect for those days your kids want to hit the pool.

©Amazon
This kind of spray can be sprayed on damp skin which can be a lifesaver if you’ve ever tried hosing yourself in sunscreen once you’re all hot and sweaty or wet and find out later the moisture on your body prevented the sunscreen from sticking! And if you’re looking for an extra SPF boost, this is great for adults too. Neutrogena sunscreens tend to be great for sensitive skin as well.

Sometimes we just want something that kind of does it all, so we turn to Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder which keeps our makeup looking fresher longer AND provides sun protection. It’s a 2-in-1!
This stuff is also sweat-resistant, so while the rest of our bodies might be drenched in moisture, our faces will look dry and put together. It’s transparent, so you can basically treat it like invisible sunscreen powder (we do!). This is a godsend for hair parts (yep, we always tend to forget that sensitive bit of skin!) and especially great for babies and kids (if you’ve tried to wrestle your child to apply sunscreen to their faces, YOU KNOW!). It’s pricey but lasts a long time.

If you wear your sunscreen under your make-up, but still need a product that will keep everything in place, we love the Nyx Dewy Finish Setting Spray that leaves you just enough shine to make you look like you’re glowing. But even better? You won’t look sweaty even at the end of a long day at Disney World.

And this setting spray is inexpensive, too. A little goes a long way, so it will last forever!

Staying Cool and Hydrated
We always tell you to NEVER pay for water when you can get it for free at Disney World, which is why having your own water bottle comes in handy. There are water fountains and bottle stations ALL over the parks! We like the Healthy Human Water Bottle because it keeps our water cool longer (which is important on hot days).

©Amazon
These bottles are also lightweight and so easy to carry around. Plus they come in about a billion shapes and sizes (the 32oz is perfect for us!).

We also highly recommend one accessory for this water bottle, the Healthy Human FLIP N SIP Stein Lid. Basically, this keeps your lid locked so that you don’t have any accidental spills. This is VERY important if you’re carrying this around in your day bag.

©Amazon
Plus, it makes it easier to take a sip on the go (anyone else HATE unscrewing a water bottle lid to drink and feeling like they’re gonna pour the whole bottle on their face on accident?)!

So we’re not big fans of the paper straws at Disney World (especially for frozen drinks that seem to turn them to mush in seconds!), so we often carry our own straws. We like these Reusable Metal Straws from Amazon.

©Amazon
They’re easy to clean, easy to store, and easy to use. Just whip one out when you need a decent straw for that frozen drink you just bought and stash it in the case to clean when you’re able to do so.

In the heat of summer at Disney World, staying hydrated is so important, and sometimes you need a little more of a hydration boost than just water alone can provide. We highly recommend the Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier, which is just packets of powder with electrolytes that you can add to your water to give you that much more hydration.

©Amazon
These come in several flavors (which makes your water a lot less boring, too). The flavors actually taste really good — not super sweet and not that chalky funky “this is sports drink” taste. They’re not cheap, but we take hydration seriously. Plus Florida water is notoriously…not tasty.

Staying cool is the important thing in the summer, and we like this Bladeless Neck Fan because it’s hands-free! You can just hang it around your neck and have a little breeze with you all day long.
Sure, it might not be the coolest thing to wear at Disney World, but then again, if it helps beat that heat we’re here for it. This isn’t an all-the-time thing for us, but it’s one of those things that when we need it, we’re SO glad we have it.

If you rather have a mini fan to hold, though, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the VersionTECH Mini Handheld Fan that you can carry around with you easily enough and it will blow just enough air to keep you cool on those hot Florida days.

©Amazon
This one is also charged via USB (yay! No fumbling for batteries!).

We’re also big fans of Cooling Towels in the summer, like this 4 Pack of Cooling Towels. This towel lets you use it around your neck, as a bandana, or as a headband, so you can choose where to place it for maximum cool relief.
Just run it under some water, whip it around in the air for a sec and boom — coolness. If you want to chill it out again, just give it a few flicks in the air and you’re good to go!

Other Gear
When we go to Disney World, especially in the summer, many of us prefer dresses and skirts over shorts (trust us — they’re SO much comfier). But there’s one thing you’ll need if you’re going to do that — Slipshorts. We like these by Jockey from Target. They’re light AND they wick away sweat.

©Target
We’ve seriously turned SO MANY people on to these. Total. Gamechangers. We have many and they are at the top of our must-have lists when it comes to things you need for Disney World.

We don’t like to think about it, but at the end of a day or two at Disney World, and everything starts to hurt. (You know that feeling when you first get out of bed in the morning and your whole body from your feet up HURTS? Yea. That. ) There is a LOT of walking involved and sometimes you need relief for painful muscles. So we don’t go to Disney World without Tiger Balm and we’re not ashamed to admit it.

©Amazon
It has a strong menthol/camphor smell that’s almost cinnamony to us, but it WORKS. Just don’t get it near your eyes — OUCH. This really does help alleviate sore muscles.

Something else that happens that we don’t like to talk about is all the chafing that happens when our bodies get sweaty at Disney World — especially our feet. And chafing plus sweat gives you blisters and no one wants that! We use Body Glide Original Anti-Chafe Balm to prevent that from happening.

©Amazon
It works just like a stick of deodorant but you can use it almost anywhere. Forgot to get those slipshorts we mentioned above? This stuff will SAVE YOUR LIFE.

Finally, we understand that regardless, blisters are going to happen, and when they do, you’ll need Dr. Scholl’s Moleskin Plus. This will help you protect those parts of your feet that start getting sensitive when you’ve been on your feet all day. Keep this in your day bag, folks!

©Amazon
This moleskin comes as a square that you just cut to size. And you can also use it pre-emptively if you know you have specific friction spots on your feet that always give you issues. We often will pre-cut these into more usable-sized strips and stash them in our bag to use if danger strikes!

So there you have it — everything we make sure to have on hand when we go to Disney World. If you spot us in the parks, you can bet we’ll be toting most (if not all) of this gear around! We hope this has been helpful for you too so that you’re as prepared as possible for your next Disney World trip.
